SNOWW

wow. the weather forecast was actually right for once. it actually snowed. Too bad it's all melted. ok well maybe the snow was like slushy and wet but snow is still snow. You can still build stuff. When I was walking home today I saw this big brown ball of snow in the middle of the field in my old elementary school and it was kinda gross it being like half dirt  and half snow but it was nice. It probably took alot of effort to make because there was barely any snow on the ground. I haven't played snow since like last year I think. I remember I built a big igloo once and it was actually quite fun. I would make one block by one block slowly and just put one on top of each other. I remember actually going into the igloo and it was quite roomy. And then this other year, I build like a snowman but like a super advanced one. It was like a guy and he had like arms and legs and it was kinda cool. My grandpa made it with me and he's an artist so it turned out pretty well. Yea. That brown ball of snow brought back so many memories... it better snow this winter. I gotta build a snowman.

RUNNINGGG

today for P.E. I don't know how but I came in second. I guess today I just felt like I had alot more energy being all excited for orienteering and stuff so yea. I kinda ran the warm up like I would run Langara. Well not as extreme but you get the point. I pretty much ran the whole thing and I ended up coming in second which is a pretty big accomplishment for mee. I just kept pushing myself beyond my limits and yea. I did it.

Anyways today for orienteering, I was expecting us to be outside roaming around but it turns out that half the period is table tennis and the other half is orienteering. Table tennis was pretty fun but I was more excited for orienteering but unfortunately, we didn't do much during that class. We just learnt the basics and we'll probably start doing some more for next class so yea. Kinda excited for Thursday. We have a fieldtrip that day too. It's awesome. =)

P.EEEE

OMGGGGG.

Tomorrow's P.E. class and we're finally done with the volleyball unit. I got A LOT better at volleyball compared to before. I actually kinda like it now. I think I might even miss playing volleyball. Anyways tomorrow, we're starting this new unit called orienteering. I really have like no clue what it is. What I've heard from people is that it involves a map and a compass and you're pretty much spending the whole class outside. I really hope it's sunny tomorrow because we're going out rain or shine. SO YEAA. Kinda excited for that.

Today was pretty darn cold. During the afternoon I was freezing. I was in Richmond and it actually snowed A LOT there yesterday. I don't get why there was that much snow there but not here. You could still see some snow on the ground there. Snowing near the end of February... Fun stuff.

the weather in Vancouver is really really messed up.

it was like cloudy then it started to snow then it stopped then it snowed again then it stopped and then it stayed cloudy. I didn't even know whether to go out or not. My parents left early in the morning with his friends for some rock collecting at like Hope or something. I was gonna join them but I had some homework to do and the weather wasn't that great either. They came back in the afternoon to tell me that it was snowing there so yea. I'm kinda glad I didn't go. WHYY IS IT SNOWWING NOW AND NOT CHRISTMAS. I haven't had a white Christmas since like forever. Lets hope it'll snow alot this year.

SELF DEFENSEE

I've been waiting to learn self defense moves for Takewondo for a longg time. I've done it before for maybe 5-10 classes and self defense classes are always super funn. You learn what to do when someone grabs you or punches you. You put them in an armlock and you take them down. It's pretty interesting and it's always fun taking people down. I know a few takedowns by heart and I just wanna learn more and more and moreee.

Today I got a haircut and I don't know why, but I don't even mind haircuts as much anymore. I would whine and cry before and keep nagging my mom to tell the barber to not cut it short. Maybe I just matured. Maybe.

Sunday tomorrow. Hope it's nice out so I could go outside and do something inside of getting stuck at home all the time. Cross your fingers.

BOWLINGG

Today for cadets, it was a Fun Night which means, we're gonna be doing something fun instead of our usual drill or first aid training. For this Fun Night, we went bowling in Burnaby. It was pretty fun. We played 2 games and we were in groups of 4-6 and we all had our own lanes. I'm actually not bad at bowling. When I was little, I celebrate my birthdays by bowling so I have alot of experience. I haven't went bowling for maybe about 1-2 years. I did pretty decently. I got the best score out of the group for the first game and tied for second in the second game. It was alot of fun and I'd just wish we would do this more instead of our regular cadet meetings. I should go bowling more often.

Math Contests

Today was the second time I walked to school and I could get used to it. It kinda reminds me of walking to elementary when I was a little kid. Good times. It's healthy and good for the environment too.

Anyways right in the morning, we had the math contests and there were Grade 9 tests and Grade 10 tests and I believe Grade 11 tests too.  I signed up for the Cayley and I was kinda scared to do it because it might be just wayy too hard. A lot of people were doing the Pascal instead but there were some Grade 9s that were doing the Cayley. Anyways Part A for the Cayley was actually pretty easy. Part B was okay. There were like 1 or 2 hard questions and finally Part C, was like pretty hard. It just confused me. After I worked on it longer, I actually got some of them. It was like super super super hard. It was doable but just complicated. It was a good experience.

Especially since it's a Wednesday too. I like Wednesdays. Obviously I didn't waste a perfect day like today. I decided to walk to school today with my friend. I wanted to feel the fresh air right in the morning. I might walk to school tomorrow depending on whether if it rains or not. I also ran Langara for P.E. today. I guess it's good in a way considering it's such a beautiful day and I get to get over with. I improved. This time I actually ran the whole thing only stopping once for a break. I kept pushing myself and I told myself not to stop and I just did it. I'm proud. Not wasting the afternoon, I skateboarded a little after school and played some soccer with my friends. It was perfect. It made me miss the summer but the summers coming up pretty soon. This year went by quite fast. I don't even know why or how but it did. Hope its beautiful like today tomorrow.

Looking on the bright side, I actually bought bubble tea for the first time with my own money. I always keep forgetting to bring my wallet and my friends end up buying it for me and I pay them back but today was different. I brought my wallet and was determined to line up and get my mango bubble tea. Yea. Tasted pretty dang nice. =) I should get bubble tea more often.

I was looking forward to getting my marks for pretty much this whole week. I gotta say I'm pretty proud of my science fair project. I worked pretty hard on it and I made it as pretty as possible. I guess I got a pretty good mark. Better than my science fair last year. Or at least I think I got a better mark than last year. 84%. Not bad at all. Mrs. Jay is pretty nice. She counted my mark wrong. I got 126.5 out of 150 when I was suppose to get 124.5 out of 150. She said I was an honest boy and said I could keep the mark. Yea. You should always be honest.

sometimes the weather forecast is super super accurate and sometimes its super off. Anyways we had plans to go to Kamloops today with some friends of my parents. We had it all set and once we heard it was gonna rain tomorrow, we really didn't wanna take any chances and we basically just cancelled the whole thing. And now today, the weather wasn't even that bad. It barely rained we could've just gone to Kamloops. It sucks...
Guess that just tells you that you shouldn't really trust the weather forecast. I stayed home for the whole dayy todayyy. At least I watched Ice Age. It brought back alot of memories.

it rained so hard today. it rained harder than yesterday and it rained pretty hard yesterday. The raindrops were literally like rock-hard. When my dad was driving the sounds from the rain hitting the glass of the car was louder than the radio and that's saying something. I've probably never seen it rain that hard. Yea. We had plans for tomorrow but its pretty much all cancelled because of the rain.

ANYWAYSSS. I had my usual Saturdays again and went to Chinese school. I had my dictations and i actually got a good mark for once. Pretty proud of myself. =)

VIDEOOOOOO

I actually filmed the video and it turned out pretty nice. Not as awesome as the last video I've done but like better quality and more professional. It's an improvement but I guess I just need some ideas to make my it longer and better. I'm still filming and I have about half the video done. I hope I'll get to finish it sometime this week if I have free time and such. Problem is, since I didnt finish all the filming today, I'll have to wear the same stuff I wore today the next time I film and it might take a while because it's in the wash already. So yea. I guess I'll have to continue filming like sometime next week. Sucks...

Finally. Tomorrow's Fridayyyy. I've been waiting for this Pro-D for a longg time noww. Well not super long but like ever since Wednesday. I guess it's not that long but anyways, all I'm looking forward to is filming the video and maybe playing some hockey when my friend comes over too. Haven't had real fun for a long time. I didn't do anything fun from now since Christmas. I really do miss Christmas and the party. I should probably be getting some sleep now. Need some extra rest for tomorroww. Nightt.

COLLABBB

YESSS COLLABBB. A day to sleep in and just relax. It's good cuz I finally get to catch up on some sleep. AND WE HAVE A PRO-D ON FRIDAYYY TOOOO. Pretty sweet. I really hope I don't waste my Friday like I did last time. I gotta remember to bring my keys the next time I go outside. Anyways I came up with an idea for a video. Yea I decided to make videos again. Haven't made a video since like last year so yea. It'll probably be fun. I had fun making the music video so I'll probably have fun doing my own videos. I'll do my best making it as nice as possible and making it as professional as possible. I'll even get my friend to help me film. Yea. Looking forward to Friday.

Well the weather was kinda cloudy but it was blue skies at the end of the day. There was alot of romantic stuff that happened today. I could see a bunch of different people holding flowers they got from people or flowers they got for other people. I personally think it's kinda lame getting a fake flower for someone. Like all you do is pay 3 dollars and you really don't do much to show your appreciation. You could do something special or creative that you spent your time on and put some love to it. Thats what you should really do for Valentines Day if you wanted to show your love. Then again, I'm only Grade 9 and I probably don't know a single thing about true love.

Since it's Valentines Day all the girls had hearts with them. I got a heart from someone and it's pretty much the only heart I'll ever need. Oh gawd I sound so cheesy. Happy Valentines Day everyone =)

Wonder what's gonna happen tomorrow. Guess I just gotta wait and see.

What I do know is that they're having a sale on bubble tea for couples. It's 7 dollars for 2 cups of bubble tea for couples only and you have to like prove you're a couple and all that. I should just get my friend to dress up as a girl just to get that discount. I WANTTT BUBBLEETEAAAA. 

Today for P.E. we had a sub and I thought he was like all Mr. Tough Guy at first because he made us do all these pushups and stuff but it was a pretty fun class. One of the best classes I've had actually. We did this volleyball tournament thing and the teacher chose like 6 people as team leaders and got them to pick who they wanted on their team. Our team was pretty nice. We had like so much fun. We won like one game out of all the games we played but it was fun losingg. I'm actually pretty good at serving. 

Wow. 11:41 PM. Haven't slept this early since like what, Saturday?

Oh Goodness

Wow. Making a music video is pretty hard especially if no ones there to help you film stuff or anything. Today for an English project, me, Gabe, Roy, and Jason just finished making a music video. Or well, we're almost finished making it. Gabe and me are done the music and I'm just editing everything together and filmed some scenes by myself and got some footage from everyone. Editing a video's pretty annoying. I'm pretty much like sick of it already. I'm about halfway through editing the video right now and it's already 12 AM. I'm gonna stay up pretty late tonight I can tell. Well at least this is actually a project that doesnt really seem like work. This was fun in a way filming and singing stuff. I wish all projects were like this.

CHINESE TEACHERRRR

Today for our Chinese dictation thing, she wrote like half of the words we needed to get tested on, on the board. It was more like fill in the blanks then dictation. The bad part is I'm really not learning much. This is just an easy teacher that gives you the answers and doesn't really teach you much. Not a bad teacher but just not great long-term wise? I rather learn more than just get higher marks. I know that this will boast my marks but I don't really feel like I deserve it. She's a very nice lady though. I can't believe I'm complaining about an easy teacher because that's what I always dreamed of before.

Flashmobb~~

I pretty much spent the whole day dancing today and I gotta say, it's pretty fun. There was ALOTTT of people though and there was barely enough space to even like dance properly and that's without your buddy. With your buddy, it was just super squishy. I expected the flashmob to be a whole lot different but it worked out the way it was planned.

I finally got the dance thing all figured out and I can finally do it properly now. Now I have an urge to do dance just because it's pretty fun and it looks pretty cool if you do the dance properly.

During the trip back home I ran into Laurie. She was from the same elementary as me and she was in Synergy before. She's like Grade 10 right now and she's like super smart. Yea, it was nice talking to her again. We probably haven't seen each other for like 3 years? Well we've seen each other but we don't talk so yea. She's in like Pre-IB and yea. We talked about like elementary and stuff and it just makes me miss elementary that much more.

I'm like soooo hungry right now. Well I feel hungry even though I'm really not. I usually feel hungry around this time of the day. That's bad. I already had dinner and I tend to have a snack sometimes later in the night. Bad habits. I feel fat now munching on chips and chocolate. I should stop but I can't. Someone help meee stop eatinggg.

FIELDTRIPPPP

yea. pretty excited to get a break from school and go on a fieldtrip. Especially since theres other people going with us like the people from dance class. It's gonna be like the first fieldtrip I'm ever gonna have with my friend in dance class so yea, its gonna be pretty neat.

today the Grades 7s from elementaries came over to Churchill to like get to know Churchill more and see the science fairs and I saw my old Grade 6 and 7 teachers so yea. That was pretty nice too. They can barely recognize me anymore. I miss elementary...

SLEEEEP

FINALLLLYY. I actually got some sleep yesterday. I slept at like 10 which is actually pretty early considering the regular times I sleep. Soo, today I actually finished my homework early which is pretty rare considering the usual times and how I usually procrastinate. I get distracted ALOTT. I'm just like writing my blog and someone starts chatting me or something comes up like some guy asking me to play a game. Yeaaa... This is why I guess I do things slower than others. I should start practicing how to concern on doing stuff.

Today my friend showed me this dance move called the Spongebob or something and I could actually do it. =). Looks pretty dang cool if you get it right.

Gone Forever...

wow. I can't believe I survived a day sleeping at 4 am in the morning. When I woke up today, it felt horrible. I got like 3 hours of sleep. The morning was pretty hectic too. With the Science Fair due first thing at school, I was still half awake and it was like I was floating in the sky when I was setting up my whole project and all that. I managed to do it though. Overall my project looks pretty nice. I have a model and I would say that my science fair project is pretty visually appealing. Then again, thats just my opinion.

today, February 7th, 2012 was not a great day even with the sunshine and the clear blue skies. We had a phone call a few moments ago for my grandpa. It was from my grandpa's friend's son who informed my grandpa that his friend passed away today from a heart attack. My grandpa's obviously not in a good mood. We were planning to visit him during the summer sometime but thats not possible anymore. I've known him since I was a little kid and he was really nice to us. He used to open a restaurant and I've eaten there quite a few times. There was ice cream, jello, sushi, fried rice, pork, all those kinds of good stuff. He was really generous and I could say that he watched me grow up. I didn't know him really super well but he was a cheery fellow. Whenever I saw him, he was always smiling. I haven't seen him for about a year or 2. It saddens me just to hear this. I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye or anything. If only I knew the last time we saw each other was gonna be the last time I would ever see him again in my whole entire life... To believe that yesterday, he was still alive, walking, and being the good man he always was. I wish you the best and I will always remember you. May you rest in peace forever.

omggg...

I've spent the whole day doing Science Fair. Like legitly the whole day. Right now it's like 12:16 AM and I've started working on my project at like 11:00ish AM. That's like 13 hours of work. I really don't feel like I did alot though. My science fair board is still plain blank. I got all my experiments done though and most of the stuff typed out. I finished doing the graphs too and they superb. I just gotta spend my time tomorrow finishing the typing, printing stuff out, and pasting it on the board and making it look all nice. Alot of people are pretty much done their projects but some people left it to the very end just like me. I'm glad we had this long weekend. If we didn't, I'd probably have to pull an all nighter just to finish. I mustt not get distracted tomorrow because I really really have to finish. Gotta work hard.

NEW TEACHERR

Sooo chinese school term 2 started today and the 2 week break we have from the transition to term 1 to term 2 is over. That was pretty quick. It didn't even feel like a break, probably because I still had school. Anyways it turns out that our old teacher is gone and he's replaced with a new one. It's a 50ish-60ish old woman and she takes things pretty slowly. Shes not the best teacher I've had. I was really hoping for a fun teacher that could mark easily and teach more efficiently so class wouldn't always be so dull who could even boost up my marks a little. I don't know. She explains things really in depth. Like today, we had to read a short story and she defined stuff word by word. She took things so slowly that after the reading, we were so far behind we had to stay in for recess. That pretty much pissed off alot of people in the class. When we got to our textbook exercises the teacher barely explained the answers and instead, just gave wrote all the answers on the board for us to copy. Yea. I didn't really learn much today. Also, she gave us two paragraphs to copy whereas our old teacher gave one. The dictation amount is around the same. She seems nice though. Well I've only spent like one class with her so I'm still not certain how she's gonna be like. Hope I survive.

LOCKED OUT

Today was such a beautiful day with the clear blue skies and it was a Pro-D too. It would be a shame to waste it so I decided to invite my friend over to play some hockey. I was pretty sure it was gonna be a good day. We went out to the garage to open the garage door and my friend, being a gentlemen, closed the door behind him. I would've thanked him for such kindness if my garage door to the house didn't lock automatically everytime its closed. So yea. We were locked out to the house and I had no keys with me. I was laughing thinking that that didn't just happen but it did. After I finally faced the truth that I was locked out, I thought of ways to get back in. I had a ladder in my garage and we thought of climbing up to the padio where theres a glass door to my house. I climbed all the way up and when I got to the glass door, it was locked so all my hopes of getting in were gone. The windows were all locked too. My friend had to leave soon after that so we decided to play soccer with the ball I found in the garage. After he left, I pretty much just got back up to the patio and sat there. FOR 3 HOURS. TILL MY PARENTS GOT BACK FROM WORK. I wasted the whole afternoon. A perfectly nice day. I could've even started on my science fair. This sucks.

DURIAN

Today my parents bought home some durian. They rarely bring home any just because of the smell and how strong it is. They lovee eating durian though. As for me, it's not my favourite food but it's pretty good. It kinda reminds me of ice cream. Just like how soft it is and yea. It's pretty unique. Anyways I've finished my durian and now the house smells like durian. Some people say durian smells like cat poop and some people say durian smells nice. Some people can't even stand to smell it. I think it's okay. Durian's only nice once in a while though just because the stench lasts for so long. But otherwise, it's pretty yummy.

BEAUTIFULLL

Today was such a beautiful beautiful day. I haven't seen just a beautiful day since like forever... It's a nice way to start off February. Too badd it has to be ruined by all these projects. From all that's happened today, I'm actually not in such a bad mood. I have a French quiz tomorrow which shouldn't be that hard considering French is last period and the Math quiz would be a breeze.

So like I said yesterday about being confused, I'm still super confused even after last night's sleep. Today pretty much just made things more confusing. The problem is, I still don't know what I'm confused about. Talking to other people is definitely helping though.

Jason trolled me hard today.
