LAST BLOG OF THE YEAARR

This is offically the last blog of the year. I guess the stuff I wanted to say, I already said in my last posts. I'm still waiting for the countdown and I'm trying to think of some resolutions for the year. My resolutions will probably be to help my parents more and be more respectful and be with them more and work harder at school and be nice and just be a better person in general. I'm excited for 2012 definitely. Next year my birthday's gonna be 12/12/12 which is gonna be extra special =) so it'll be interesting to see how that'll turn out. I'm gonna finish off Grade 9 next and start Grade 10 and I'll get to see if 2012 will really be the end of the world. If it is, this is the last new year's eve I'll ever have and I'm enjoying it. Happy New Year Everyone!

SLEEPING IN

*sigh* today was actually a day that I didnt get interrupted by my parents and I actually got to stay home and sleep in. I pretty much spent the whole day sleeping in and just making the most of what's left. I've said this like a million times. Tomorrow's the last day of the year. I'm gonna miss 2011 alot. Tomorrow night we're gonna have a huge dinner just to celebrate the last day and probably do a countdown. I remember last year I watched the NYC countdown and it was beautiful. There were a bunch of people just standing at Times Square. There were alot of couples there and when the clock reached 12:00 a.m, everybody hugged and just kissed. That was actually the first time I watched a countdown in NYC and it was a good experience. It was beautiful. I wonder how 2012 would be like.

NEW YEARSS

I cant believe theres like two days left of 2011. Thats pretty sad. 2011 wasn't my favourite year but it was it was pretty fun. It was the first time I ever tried wakeboarding and it was super fun. I spent my summer in Thailand and Hong Kong and went to alot of places. I spent days in the summer hanging out with my friends. Grade 9 started off fine. I got to see all my friends again and then months passed and it brought me to winter break. Winter break was just absolutely awesome. I went to Whistler and stayed there for 2 days snowboarding with my family. Then came Christmas and the Christmas party and now here I am with 3 days left of winter break. *sigh*. Time passes by too quickly. I seemed like just yesterday that winter break started. I don't wanna do homeworkkkk.

RETURNS

today me and my dad and my sis went to Best Buy to return a router that was too slow. We thought the line-up was gonna be fast because people have work but nope. There was a huge line-up for returns. I guess it was kinda expected. It's pretty much like this every year. It was the same last year, it was the same last last year. People just receive stuff for Christmas that they don't want or need and it ends up getting returned so they could get money back for something better. Good thing I don't need to get anything returned. =)

P.S. They made a Chinese version of Jet Lag which is pretty cool.
theres a french version, english version, and now a chinese one. Wonder what's next.

HOCKEYYY

I spent like the entire day playing hockey with my sister and my dad. It was soooo fun. We were just doing a shootout between me and my sister and my dad was at goalie. He's pretty good at it. He stopped a bunch of our goals but we did score a few. My dad switched places with me and I ended up being goalie. I was kinda scared of my dad cuz he kept on doing hard shots. I did my best to stop him from scoring but hes pretty good. Then he gave me some tips on how to be better and yea. We'll play some more tomorrow. I'm like so tired right now. Can't wait till tomorrow.

BOXING DAYY

Today was Boxing Day and most of the people I knew went out to the mall to check for some good deals. Most of the prices were the same at like clothing stores but at like eletronic stores, the prices were extreme. My sister bought the most stuff today. She got an Xbox 360 and a Kinect and some games for it. My dad bought a PS3 for himself and got some games and I just got a game for my PS3. Really nothing much. The prices were pretty much the same for games. Most of the cameras were the same price but really the cheapest things there were Tvs, game consoles, and some computers. Nothing else changed much. So yea. This was my boxing day.

CHRISTMASSS PARTYYY

ITS CHRISTMASSS GUYSSSS

MERRRYYY CHRISTMASSS EVERYONE!!!!!!! Don't you just love Christmas? You wake up and you head down to the Christmas tree to unwrap the presents and just have a fun time. You get together, eat some turkey, have loads of fun, and exchange presents. Its quite nice. Singing Christmas songs and watch the beautiful Christmas lights. The Christmas party today was awesome. We had fun playing games and eating dinner and basically it was just like last year pretty much. The same people and the same fun. All my elementary friends together was just a good reunion to see all the people you spent half your life with. I kinda miss them. Most of them are in Hamber and I feel like going to Hamber just to see them. *sigh*. Christmas.

EATINGGGG

Today I had to spend the whole day following my parents around. My parents had a reunion with their friends and they went walking through downtown together and eating and talking. I really didnt wanna go. Everytime I go somewhere with my parents and their friends together, I end up getting all left out because theres really no one that wants to talk to me so I just end up following them around not opening my mouth for the whole day. The dinners with them are the worst. They spend like hours at the restaurant talking for hours and hours and its horribleee. Usually the dinners end at 9 even though they started early at like 5 or 6. Then after they finish their dinner they would sometimes go to a bar and talk some more and that would lead us to 11 pm. Then I get back home and I dont get to do a thing. Oh just great.

Christmas shopping againnnn

ANOTHER GREAT DAY AT THE MALL CHRISTMASS SHOPPPINGGG. I CAN'T BELIEVE ITS CHRISTMAS EVE ALREADY. You go out and see everybody in the Christmas spirit with lights hanged up and Christmas trees all set up. I went to Metrotown today again to see if theres like anything thats really cheap. We didn't really find much but we bought some more presents to put under the Christmas tree like an iPod nano for my sis and me which was pretty thoughtful of our dad. The Christmas party/ dinner is tomorrow and that'll probably be fun. Anyways gotta go sleep. Waiting for Santa to get my presents under the tree.

SALEEE

everywhere you go, you could see like a huge sale sign on the window. It's amazing. You could see like some stores with like 40% off signs or some that are up to like 70% off signs. My dad brought me to Hollister because he had like a 500 dollar gift card and we went on a huge shopping spree. The whole store was 50% off and surprisingly, I didn't buy much. I got like a checkered shirt and a jacket and that was pretty much it. My dad bought the most. He took like 5 shirts, 2 checkered shirts, 2 jeans, 2 jackets, a pair of sweatpants, and some V neck shirts. We managed to use up the whole gift card. Yea. Christmas shopping is fun. =)

soooo soreee

today really wasn't much better from yesterday.
I woke up at 8:00 am today again and I'm still pretty sore from yesterday. We ate breakfast at White Spot and I had this mango waffle which was actually pretty good. The mango tasted kinda weird though. Then after that, we went straight to the Blackcomb area from Whistler and did some practice runs on a nice hill which was pretty wide and steep. We got warmed up from going down 4-5 runs then we went to grab some lunch and we came back and decided to go up further and go on some harder trails. We got down them smoothly and went on around 2 more runs and that was pretty much it for the day. We were all tired and sore and ready to go back home to Vancouver. We drove all the way back home which took 3 hours because there was a huge traffic jam but now we're home safe and warm and sore. *sigh*. Had a big day.

goin to whistler

today was painful.
I had to wake up at 8:00 am in the morning on winter holiday to get packed up and ready for the trip at Whistler. Its winter break. That's not the worst part. The worst part was after I woke up, I had to survive the 2-3 hour trip all the way to Whistler. It was worth it though. Whistler was absolutely beautiful and snowboarding was pretty fun. We went up from Whistler and snowboarded to the Blackcomb area. Then we had lunch there and went on some more runs down the mountain. We did about 4-5 runs before we got tired and headed to our hotel. I'm like super sore right now. I'm snowboarding more tomorrow. Hope I'll get better from tonight's sleep.

SHOPPINGGGG

I spent the whole day shopping today and it was awesome. Me and my friend went to Metrotown and we went to all the stores that sold clothes. The first store of interest was West 49 and it was the first store we went to. My friend tried to look for some grey jackets or some black ones but he didn't find anything. As for me, I tried to look for a purple hoodie and some purple shoes and some dark skinny jeans. The results were good. I found my purple hoodie and a pair of purple shoes and some dark skinny jeans. The pair of purple shoes were not my favourite but they were definitely nice. So basically my shopping day turned out pretty well. In the end my friend bought some black hightop Adidas shoes which were pretty nice. Anyways he's still determined to find the jacket he wanted so next week, we're going to downtown instead to find some more stuff. TIMEEE TO GET SOME SHOPPING DONEEEEE.

NO ONE CAN DRIVEEE MEEEE

I wanna go snowboarding so badly tomorrow but not a single person in my family could drive me all the way to Cypress especially since they have work too. Now I probably know what you're thinking. Why don't you just use the public transit to get there? Problem number 1 is that my parents don't think it's too safe and problem number 2 is that it's pretty far. I have to take the skytrain all the way to Waterfront then I have to take the Seabus to Lonsdale Quay. Then I have to take the Cypress bus all the way to Cypress. Then I have to do the same thing to get back. I have to carry my board all the way there too. Its a big fuss. I guess I just have to wait till Wednesday where I'll to go to Whistler with my family. We already have it booked and I'm pretty excited for that. CANTTT WAITT TO GO SNOWBOARDINGGG.

MALLL with my mom

okay usually during sundays im always so busy with school and homework but since its winter break I'm all freeeee. Anyways me and my mom met up my dad's mom which is my grandma and we went to the mall to stroll around and have some lunch. Lunch went pretty well but the shopping part was horrible. My sister was at home because she was sick and during the time at the mall, all my mom and my grandma thought of was my sis. Then they went dragging me to all these woman stores where they sell clothes, earrings, and all the things thats suppose to make a girl look nice. They would spend like hours in the stores and ask me what looks nice and what doesn't. They even used me to measure. My sister is almost about the same size as me so they would just drag me over and they put some dress in front of me to see if it'll fit my sis. There were a bunch of people staring at me. I didnt even get to go to any stores i wanted. It was horribleee.

Now it's time for the real fun to start. Now that everything is finished, I'm all relaxed. Honestly, today was the longest Saturday I've had. I had to study for the big test and it was horrible. I'm just really glad to get it over with. I'm excited for snowboarding now. I'm going snowboarding with both my friends and my dad to both Whistler and Cypress. My dad has booked a night at the hotel in Whistler and we're going there for 2 days and 1 night so I'm pretty excited for that. Then we'll go to Cypress for just a normal day of snowboarding with my friends. SOOO EXCITEDDD.

as busy as ever

even though school ended, not everything else has ended. I still have a bunch of stuff to do like my chinese test tomorrow and the two chinese essays I still have to write for that test. Its gonna be horrible tomorrow but it'll be all worth it once all of this stuff ends. Then it's freedom everyday playing games, snowboarding with my friends, and relaxing everyday and live life like the way it should be lived.

today was pretty okay. I had my english project due and our science test done and I'm just really glad to have that all finished. it was only a half day and I'm pretty tired already. we said goodbye to all our friends and that was it. We see each other next year. time passes fast. It's already winter break. It seemed like school just started a week ago.

Conclusion

Throughout the whole Empathy Blog experiences, I got to know alot more about my mom. Sometimes I ask her about her day and how business and sometimes I follow her to work but the empathy blogs definitely got us both closer. Business is pretty hard for her. She has to care about both me and work and she always puts me as number 1 priority. Sometimes she could have really good business to none at all. It's all about luck and who comes in and the amount of people that know our store. Usually most of her customers always come back for more and some extend it and go to the point of introducing it to their friends which increases the number of customers. She has to drive me to tutor and cook dinner and do chores and it's hard work. When she got sick we had to take over the chores and honestly, it's tiring work. I gotta start helping out more. It was a nice experience with you mom. =)

Empathy Blog #10 (Parents Blog)

This morning, there was a customer that got recommended by her friend to my store. They're planning a Christmas party and they think that our products will be nice as a gift. They bought like 30 boxes of our ginseng. I own a ginesng store if you didnt know. So I'm pretty happy about that. Anyways, it's almost winter break and we're getting ready for Boxing Day and some shopping in the US. We're also getting ready for stuff like snowboarding and skiing. In fact, Kendrew's going snowboarding/skiing with his friends this Sunday and hes pretty excited for that.

3 more days of school

only three more days of school. I cant believe time passed by so quickly. Its almost like we just started school and here we go with winter break coming and my birthday passed. I dunno why but this year time passed by so quickly. Especially 1st term. We have a science test tomorrow and another one on Friday. It's basically the same thing but its split into two. Also the english mandala thing is due Friday so this week's pretty tough. Especially since I have a chinese test on Saturday too. At least I get a 2 week break and I might go up snowboarding on Sunday if theres any snow up there. Cant wait.

Empathy Blog #9 (Parent's Blog)

I'm not quite sure if you know this but my parents and my brother used to live in Canada but they moved to China. Sometimes when they come here for visits they go back to their house here. They gave me the responsiblity to take care of that house since I live here. Anyways we just found out today that the next door neighbour rammed into my parents' garage and there's a big dent. Fortunately, they're nice enough to pay for the damage done which is really considerate.

Tomorrow is Kendrew's birthday and he hung out with his friends today since he wouldnt be able to celebrate it much tomorrow. I have a birthday cake ready and it's going to be nice. I'm making his favourite foods tomorrow. Lets hope he has a good birthday.

Empathy Blog #8 (Parent's Blog)

OMGGGG. Kendrew has a huge chinese exam tomorrow. I have to help him study a bunch of stuff and help him make 2 essays and get him ship shape for the test. It's gonna be a hard week next week. He has 3 projects due next week and he has 2 tests too. The problem is, I have to work while I help him study while is really difficult for me. I don't know what comes first. Kendrew or my clients. Sometimes I even have to push off my clients just to help Kendrew study or help him with his homework in chinese. Lets hope he cooperates with me and makes it easier for both of us.

Empathy Blog #7 (Parent's Blog)

Today I got alot better. I got some more rest and I got lots of sleep. I still didnt go to work. I'm not in the best mood today either. Today I had an arguement with one of my friends and really it was just stupid. Basically my friend fixes computers and makes them. When my computer has a problem I usually go to him but he doesn't exactly devotes to fixing it. Sometimes there could be alot of viruses and errors in his work and I wanted to try using a different computer service. Somehow my friend found out and he's arguing with me about why I didnt use his service and instead used someone elses and it really just pisses me off. I'm just trying it out. Is it such big of a deal? I go to his company everytime I had a computer error or anything and right now I just wanted to try something new once. So obviously this was a big arguement and it's going to be hard having the relationship we had before. He was being selfish and greedy. How could he.

Empathy Blog #6 (Parent's Blog)

Today I got sick and I had to stay home from work. I got a fever and a huge headache. I went to the doctor and he said I had a cold. I threw up a bit and I'm just really sick. I got some sleep and rest and I'm doing the best I can to stay strong. Kendrew was sick a few days ago and I think I caught the cold from him. He got better now and now I'm the one sick. Me sick is a really bad thing because there's no one cleaning the house or cooking dinner. Luckily I have a nice family and they helped me cook and do my regular chores. I'm going to stay home for a few more days and get more rest. I'm just glad the weekend's coming up.

Empathy #5 (Parent's Blog)

Today there was a customer and she bought $300 worth of stuff. She paid me 3 100 dollar bills and at first I thought they were fake because they were plastic and they looked different. Then I soon learnt that those 100 dollar bills were the new ones which was super cool. Then there was another customer that saw that and she was amazed at those bills. She was asking if she could give change for 2 of those bills. She was going back to China and she wanted two of those bills as sort of a souvenir. I still have 1 of those bills and I already showed Kendrew. I'm probably gonna keep it. I don't think I'll ever use it.

Today business wasn't going too well. The weather was bad so that might be one of the reasons that business wasn't well. I'm pretty unhappy with that.

Moving on to the things that did make me happy. There was a new neighbour moving in today and they gifted us a Christmas flower.It's a pretty sweet gift and very thoughtful.  I gave them some gifts in return and I'm sure in the future, we'll be great friends. Turns out their mother was a florist so that would make sense. They've worked in downtown for around 20 years selling flowers and plants and they moved here to where we are and they're opening their store here. We had a pretty nice conversation and they were really nice. A new friend.

Today I had the busiest day. I had make breakfast and lunch for Kendrew and drive him to school. I went back to Richmond where I work and today there was alot of business today and I'm quite happy about that. I made some new customers and I have alot of orders. Then after all the tiring work, I went to pick up Kendrew off of school. Then we got an afternoon snack and headed to his violin lessons. While he was doing violin I went to get some groceries and headed back to pick him up. We're having roasted pork for dinner tonight. It's gonna be delicious. =)

Empathy Blog #2 (Parent's Blog)

Today we woke up early to cook breakfast and we got it ready just in time as Kendrew woke up. After, we went down to the garden to water some plants and we got ready to go outside for some lunch. We went to Kendrew's favourite restaurant, White Spot, and we all ordered our usual dishes. Then, we went to Costco to buy some chocolate and some snacks for the Christmas party coming up soon. We then headed back home with out tummies full and our grocery shopping all done and laid back and relaxed. We were so full from lunch we skipped dinner. We should do this more often.

Today was the day of the trip. I woke up real early in the morning to get ready and pack up. I didn't wake up Kendrew because he was tired and it was 5 am in the morning so I let him stay home and sleep. I really hope he'll be fine. I hope he'll be a good boy and stay home and do his homework and not play games but that's probably not gonna happen. Anyways, I premade his lunch and breakfast and I taught him how to heat it up. Lucky for him, I excused all his classes and tutors today since we're going to be away and it'll be a fuss for him to get there himself because it's quite far away. I trust him. If he leaves the house I'll kill him.

HOME ALONEEEE

My parents have to go on a trip early tomorrow for some work business thing and they're gonna be gone for about half a day which is like the longest time I've ever stayed home alone for. It's kinda pathetic. I know like a bunch of other people that have been home alone for like an entire day or more so this to them is like nothing but it means alot to me. It means that my parents trust me and they think I'm responsible enough to handle taking care of myself. I'm probably just gonna stay home and relax and make the most out of my beautiful Saturday.

don't feel too well

I'm really not feeling too well right now. My throat is really sore and my arm is really sore and I'm really really tired. I'm not sure if it was my singing yesterday that made my throat sore or maybe the shots yesterday but yea. I was also really tired today. Yea. Bad day. But it's the first day of December which is awesome because it was my friend's birthday todayy. It's gonna be my other friend's birthday on the 11th and thenn the next day will be a very very special day for meee.

It's just like last year all over again.

I GOT SHOTTTTT

OMGGGGGG. WE GOT SHOTS TODAY. AND I WAS SO FREAKING NERVOUS. It was only for Grade 9s and it was going by alphabetical order. I'm pretty happy with that because my last name is like W and it's almost last. I was really really really freaking out. There were like needles poked into everybody's arms when I went. It's not the first time I've taken shots but I've had bad experiences with them. What makes it even worse like, I was asking basically everyone I saw how the shots were and they were like," OMGGG. IT HURT SOO MUCH. ITS LIKE GETTING A KNIFE STABBED IN YOUR ARM. THE NURSE KEPT MISSING MY ARM TOO AND SHE GOT THE WRONG BLOODSTREAM SO SHE HAD TO RETAKE THE SHOT 4 TIMES." That got me more scared. Waiting in line to get the shot was like waiting in line to die. In the end, I survived the shots and I went back home with a story to tell my parents. The boy who survived the needle.

GUITARRR

GABEE BROUGHT HIS GUITAR TODAYYYYYY.

He has a really really nice guitar. The sound is really nice and he was jamming out and he sounds awesome. He played "Rolling in the Deep" and I just sang to it. I guess this is considered preparations for the band which is nice. Now we know the skill level of each of our guitar levels and our singing levels. If you didnt know, Gabe was planning to audition for Churchill's got Talentand it was something that I was looking forward to all week but I had no idea why he all of the sudden backed out. I don't get it. He's such a good singer and guitarist. The world needs to see and hear his talent. Gabe, you need to perform.

SQUARE DANCING

We have square dancing tomorrrowwwwwww. Thats pretty much means thats the end of basketball which really sucks. I still remember the awkwardness of last year. You have to hold their hands and you can't just like make ur sleeves long because if you do the teacher just comes over and starts threatening you and that if you don't roll ur sleeves up, they'll fail you in P.E. They almost make you sing all those songs and the louder you sing, the more marks you get. You have to like stare at each other which just makes it more awkward. Usually i just avoid as much eye contact as possible. Then you see the teachers dancing with each other trying to be a good example but that just makes things more embarassing.

KICKED IN THE SHINN

I had Takewondo in the morning just like every Saturday morning. Today for Takewondo we had sparring which is just another word for fighting. You get like chest-guards and shin-guards and everything so you don't end up getting hurt. Anyways me and my friend were doing some pretty good kicks and we scored points on each other by hitting their chest-guard but then my friend was going a fast hard kick and so was I. It would've been fine if it just wasn't the same leg. so basically he ended up kneeing my shin then the sparring group next to us got a little bit intense and they ended up going to our area and basically bumped into my friend at the moment he was kneeing my shin and it was a real mess. In the end my friend got kicked in the groin. So basically me and my friend both had a little time-out because he needed to recover from his kicked groin and I needed to recover from my kneed shin. Whatta great class.

We've had like so many pro-ds for the first term it seems like theres only like 4 days of school. First term just ended today which means all the marks start fresh again. That's good. Already 1 term done for grade 9. Two more terms then it'll be summer again and off to Grade 10. Term 1 felt pretty quick to me. Not sure if its just me. It's already almost Christmas and Winter Break. I'd really hope it snows again soon. So far theres only been a day of snow and it was like a cm. It's all melted so that really doesn't matter much.

GRADE 8 INDOOR TRACK MEET

Today was the grade 8 indoor track meet and basically the whole gym was used for it a during our P.E. class too so basically for gym we stayed in the balcony and watched it. It was pretty intense. It brought back alot of memories from last year and the track meet we had last year. I kinda miss Grade 8 now just thinking about it. We were sitting in the red team area today and I was red team last year so I was just cheering for the red team. I only watched half of the track meet and red team was first for the first half. The red team was pretty strong this year though. It was fun watching all the competition and the people cheering.

Tests.

I had 2 tests today.

both of them were in the morning. Omg... french test and a math test. I don't really worry much about math because most of the stuff we do is really easy and all you have to do for math is just remember the formulas and basically everything else you can basically do according to that formula. French you have to remember everything and the les and las and which words are feminine and which words are masculine. We got it back right after we had the test and I got 8/10. It's not a bad mark and its not too great either. Gotta study more.

end of empathy blogs

i had like no idea the empathy blog thing ended like a few days ago. I just kept doing empathy blogs. Well now that it's over I'm back to blogging my own blogs again and it's nice to be back.

Today was nice. For P.E. we had basketball again and we played games like "King of the Court" which was pretty fun. We had a student teacher help us out and she taught us the different passes and she taught us dribbling. It was nice practice. Anyways I just found out today that basketball ends next class which is really gonna suck. Well at least I heard that it ends next class. It lasts for two weeks so yeah. Square dancing next.

i had to do 5 sets of lines, two minutes of tabletops, 8 minutes of running the bleachers, situps and sitting against the wall thingy
man it was tiring but i know it will pay off
im glad that our coaches are actually pushing us to become better
last year i think our coach kind of gave up the first game into the season after knowing that we weren't that great
i think that is how our volleyball coach felt too
they both decided not to go up with us and instead just scout the grade 8s
ahh but ms holdaway, catherine, rachel and keani are really amazing (:

the stadium was sooo big and there were so many little people
it was really fun spending this time with my family

then i went home
and i went to dinner with my family and family friends
we went to this szechuan cuisine and it was a wonderful dinner

i was forced to cause we had to go to the states
ahh anyways i woke up and i ate cereal and i ate cheese string and i ate a reese peanut butter cup

OCCUPY VANCOUVERR

So today I went downtown to buy some new clothes and some jackets for winter and I just happened to pass by the Art Gallery and I finally saw the Occupy Vancouver in person. I don't usually don't to downtown that often so yea. Anyways, there were alot of camps set up and I'm not sure why but there was a sign saying "Homes of Women". Probably that area was the camps for women. There was a firetruck right nearby. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the future.

IN OTHER NEWSS

My dog's leg is getting alot better and thats good news. He still limps a little but it's alot less noticeable. Me and my dad were carrying him to the garden for him to do his business so he doesn't have to walk down the big flight of stairs and walk back up. He'll be good and back to normal by Tuesday. Then we'll bring him to a vet on Wednesday just to make sure his leg is for sure ok. He's getting old. He's as old as me and thats like about 98 years old in dog years. He's super healthy though. LOVEE YA WHISKEYY. Yup Whiskey's his name.

I GOT MY CHINESE TEST BACK

After all the days of studying.

All the days of painfully learning new chinese words.

I finally got my chinese test back

and I got....... 34%

That's actually quite good considering three of my friends got 15.5%, 20%, 23%. I'm quite proud of myself. I don't even think anyone got an A. The test was just tat hard. 1/2 of the class failed which says alot. You had to do the test and write an essay. The test was out of 70 and the essay was out of 30. I got 22/70 for the test and 12/30 for the essay so yea. Lets hope I do better next time. But for now. I'm gonna relax and enjoy whats left of my 4 day weekend.

REMEMBRANCE DAY

Today I just had a remembrance day parade for cadets and it was pouring and cold. We gathered up at Victory Square and there were alot of people. It was quite unbearable because you had to stand in the squad at attention or at ease for about 2 hours. One of my friends got hypothermia and the first aid team had to give her oxygen. She got out fine though. My other friend felt faint and had to step out of the squad for a few minutes. We heard speeches and songs and there was actually a poem written by someone from Churchill that was read during the whole ceremony which was pretty cool. The poem was very well done and very inspiring.

My dog's left front leg got twisted or something. I'm really not sure what happened. When he went out to the garden I heard him bark in pain. Right now he's limping and I really wish I could do something to help. My dad felt his leg to make sure its not broken. It's hard watching him limp everywhere. He needs some rest. Hopefully his leg will get better.

EMPATHY BLOGS

So we're starting this empathy blog things and my friends told me it starts Monday. Basically you interview your partner and you do your best to see things from their perspective. Then after you know everything and what happened in their day you blog about it. So yea.

So today I made this deal with Gabriel and now I'm in the band for good. Gabe wanted me in the band and I wanted him to stay in Churchill till we graduate. It was a pretty good win-win deal. We both got what we wanted. I'm still kinda worried that Gabe might leave Churchill though. He started telling me that he might leave when school just about started and I just really really want him to stay. I know it's his decision but still. I would literally do anything to get him to stay. Today we spent some of our time deciding what to name the band and I thought Forever For After would be a good name. Gabe thinks Occupy Limelight is a nice name and Cynthia thinks Disillusioned is a good one. Guess we'll have to see what the band's name ends up as.

WHY IS NOOO ONE HEREEEE

Today.

I woke up at 7:30.

I got dressed.

I got in the car and went to school.

There were no cars and barely any people.

I thought I was late.

I went into the school and I see teachers walking around.

There were like 1 or 2 students

Then I heard one of the teachers asking another teacher where all the students are.

Then I heard the teacher answer "it's collab"

Then I soon realized it was collab day and I slowly walked all the way home in the rain.

FOOTTBALLLL

ITSSS FOOTBALLL AGAINN. OOOOO HOW MUCH I LOVE FOOTBALL. It's pretty fun. We went against the yellow team and we won. It wasn't the best game we had I personally thought. It wasn't as intense enough and we didn't catch as much balls as we had before. We did like really awesome plays for previous games we had. They were extreme intense games. So far we're a pretty strong team. We have 3 wins and 1 loss which is pretty impressive. Too bad the last day of football is on Thursday which really sucks. We're doing basketball next which is pretty nice. Hope basketball turns out fun.

SS TEST

The SS test we had today was actually not as hard as I expected. We got to choose our own topics to write about and they were pretty simple and straightforward. The only hard part was the time limit we had. I barely had enough time to finish my essay. The other stuff was pretty easy though. The notes took me a really long time though. I spent like 5 hours doing it and I got 5 pages. I might've been a bit slow because I just finished my Takewondo test and I had to do all these jumping techniques. Now that the homeless simulator is over, I finally get to sleep on my own comfy bed. It was really bad last night. I had to wear my hoodie and I kept my hood on the whole night. I was shivering really really badly and it was painful getting to sleep. It took me an hour to get to sleep and it was really really freezing cold. I'm gonna be all warm tonight fortunately.

TAKEWONDO TESTT

I did my Takewondo test today and I actually did better than I expected. I was really nervous in the morning. I thought I was gonna trip and do horribly and be kicked out but nope. I survived the whole thing. I broke some boards and did some kicks and I have pictures.

I did alot of jumping kicks and you had to break boards with kicks in the air. It's much harder than it actually looks. I am offically promoted to black belt 3rd dan.

CHINESEEE

I got a huge chinese test today and yea it was pretty dang hard. I suck at chinese even thought I spent like hours and hours studying. I made a chinese essay. I did everything. I listen to the teacher. I do my best. And yet I still fail. We have these like small spelling tests and so far I only passed one. Thats pretty bad. I'm scared I might even fail this test. I got 55 for an essay I handed in which is horrible.

ANYWAYS

Sleeping on cardboard was a really really REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. My dog kept licking me in the middle of the night and it was cold. I barely had even energy today to do Takewondo and take my Chinese test. I have a Takewondo tournament tomorrow and I really need a good nights sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night yesterday and it was really hard getting back to sleep. I was yawning all day today.

I'm scared. The Takewondo test is gonna be hardddd. Hope I pass...

DEBATE

Oh goodness gracious. I had the worst debate today. Gabe and Roy, mostly Gabe, totally pwned our butts. He had the best comebacks. I'm not even kidding. I thought me and Jason could wing it all the way but nope. It was much harder than it looks. You need to think of things to say quick and you have to keep speaking. I kept repeating stuff because I was running out of points to say and I stopped once in a while to find some more points. I was like really really pissed after the debate. Like I'm not even kidding. OMGGG. Imma go sleep on cardboard now. Last night was pretty cold. I woke up with my hands numb. Tonights gonna be worse... Omg..

THESE FEW DAYS

these few days are gonna be hard hard days. starting today I'll have to sleep on cardboard with newspaper or sleep outside with no newspaper. I'm not even sure how I could survive the school days and my Takewondo competition on Sunday. I'm tired even though I sleep at 11 on a soft comfortable bed so I really think I'm gonna be dead in the morning if I sleep on cardboard with newspaper. I might not even be able to get to sleep. Im worried.

it was really messed up today. It was sunny and it was raining. It was raining/hailing. Well at least its a sign that its gonna snow soon which is good. I also saw a huge rainbow which was really clear and nice. Strange weather...

WORK DAY

I had work day today and I followed my mom the whole day. I stayed in her shop and I basically just sat in her office. I've been there at least a thousand times literally. You could almost say I grew up there. I know everything there and I might even know all the prices of the products. I go there at least 4-5 times a week which is ALOT. I help out sometimes like packaging the products or taping labels onto the packages. I've worked there for the whole summer which was a real waste. I didn't really have a choice. I just had to follow my parents to where they went and to the shop I go. It's like this every summer... That's why I don't like summers too much. Nothing much to do.

PISSED

After the night yesterday, my grandma and my grandpa are super pissed. My parents weren't at home yesterday so I had to ask my grandaparents permission to go to trick or treating. I literally had to beg to go. I had no idea how I manged to convince them to let me go. It's a wonder that I could even go. I did have fun with my friends though. My grandparents aren't in such a good mood and neither am I. They yelled at me yesterday after I came back. Well at least the Canucks won 5-1 against the Flames.

I had a pretty nice Halloween this year. I went trick or treating around my neighbourhood with Simon and Ivan because they live close and we had alot of fun. We didn't get much candy in the end because I ended up giving all of my candy to the trick or treaters coming to my house. We also chilled for an hour at my house eating the candy we had left and playing some games and playing some songs on the guitar. It was a really nice end to the day. There were alot of people this year. Some were intense trick or treaters getting driven from block to block getting loads and loads of candy in a short amount of time. Some people were really generous, giving a whole bag of chips and a huge candy bar and some people gave us 2 tiny chocolate eggs. Its quite nice if you get the generous ones. I can't wait till next year...

Just today I had a Remembrance Day Parade Practice and it was pretty tough. We had people from different divisons and I actually saw a few people from Churchill. I was really surprised they had cadets with me. The officers from the different divisions were pretty tough on us and they would yell at you for slouching or if you had lint on your uniform or if your shoelace was untied or if your fist wasn't clenched hard enough and etc. You get the point. I got yelled at like 4 times and the officer dude was like super loud. I did learn alot though which is good. I'm scared to go back now.

He made some really good saves. The glove save was really really good. I dunno if it was like luck or just reflexes but the save with his glove was epic.

Next game is at Calgary. Canucks against the Flames. Hope we win it.

Ohhh number 17... It was really really hard. After we understood the question completely and got the formula we actually finished it. The people hosting the workshop were surprised we actually did it. Yea. I'm proud. Chris is really good at math and he's really smart. I'm not sure if we were the only ones that solved it but omggggg i'm sooo freakinn proud. Please don't think of this as a brag. I'm making it as less braggy as possible. but anyways. The question thing made my day.

We actually tried out our play today and we did really well actually. We practiced out plays at the beginning of class and it was freezing. My hands were like super numb and I could barely move my thumb. Hey that rhymed. Anyways we were doing really well and our plan about tricking people actually worked. The other team defended most of our players that were around that same area and Gabe was wide open and I just passed the ball to him. We just got one time to try out our play because we got cut off in the end for lack of time. Gabe missed the pass because the ball was really wet and it kinda slipped but if he caught it we'd win. We got a good strategy goin.

ANYWAYS different topic

Time to talk bout the band. So the band thing's getting more and more realistic. I'm still not quite sure if I should be in the band though. It's take some time and thats what I don't have much of. Another thing is Cynthia invited this girl to the band and shes gonna be vocals and that was something I was hoping for. Also, I don't really like the songs we're playing for the band so yea. Making a band is a really big thing. I need to think through this hard. But for now, I have a SS test and now I'm gonna go study.

A BAND?

Ever since I saw this band when I was on tour in Churchill when I was still Grade 7, I was really inspired to be have a band. I love singing in the shower. Sometimes i make up my own songs and sometimes I just sing some random song stuck in my head. I'm actually pretty good making up songs in the spot. I mean it's not a really good song but it's ok. But anyways some people are making a band, or planning to. They need like a singer, a guitarist, a drummer, and a bassist. I know that Gabe's a good singer and he's pretty good at guitar too. I can play the guitar ok and my singing's ok too. Roy could probably be the drummer. Not sure about the bassist though. It'd be nice if we had a band. I'm still not sure if I'd join though. They'll probably find some better guitar players or some better vocalists. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

FOOTBALLLLL

During PE today we spent the whole period thinking of plays. We needed a quarterback, a center, and four other players to be receivers. Gabriel's actually really good at thinking of plays. Right now most of the plays we have contain luring the defenders. For example, we have like 3 of the receivers including center be around in the same area so the defending team might think the balls gonna be passed there with all the action going on but nope. The other two receivers we have will be going towards the flags as sneaky as they can. Then once most of the defenders get clumped up on the area where most of our receivers are, the quarterback passes the ball to either of the two open receivers. It's a pretty decent play. I'm excited to practice it on Thursday.

HALLOWEEN

ITS A WEEK TILL HALLOWEEENNNNN AND I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M GONNA BE. I'm not even sure if I'm still gonna dress up as something. Theres still time to get an outfit and all but I really dunno what to be. I'm considering dressing up as a vampire like I have when I was in elementary. I think my vampire cloak from Grade 5 still fits but it's not really scary. What else is there to be for Halloween. I could be some guy filled with zits and pimples. Thats scary but not quite the right kind. If only I was good with makeup. If I was I could basically make my face look destroyed and demented and wear some sliced up clothes. That'd be a pretty nice costume. I hope I think of a costume I can make quick otherwise I don't think I'm dressing up.

ANNUAL INSPECTION

ITS ANNUAL INSPECTION FOR CADETS WHICH IS HORRIBLE. You dunno what Annual Inspection is? Well lemme tell u little children. Annual Inspection is when all the cadets in the whole district come together for an inspection and hear the highest rank officers' speeches and be inspired. It happens every year. Thats why its called Annual Inspection. Why is this bad? Well lemme tell you. You have to stand in military base and do drill for 3 hours. The first hour is just forming up the squad and making yourself presentable to the officers. The second hour? You stand in the military base for 2 hours and hear the officers talk. You have to stand in attention at all times and you're not allowed to move or talk or do any sorts of things except for breathing, watching, and listening. Every year there are some cadets that faint in the middle of the officers' speech. The cadet leaders say that if you feel faint or sick you kneel down on one knee and a leader will help you out and dismiss you from the squad. There were alot of people kneeling down. Alot of them were from our division. There were some people who even fainted. It was hard surviving and toughing out the whole thing but I did it. Now comes the best part of Annual Inspection. FREEEEEE FOOOOOODDDD. You get sandwiches, chips, brownies, cookies, and all the goody goodies you could ever dream of. Now theres only 365 more days till the next annual inspection.

UPDATEDDD MY PHONEE

I just updated my phone to iOS5. I know it's kinda late since like everyone I know already updated theirs. The problem is that all the apps and music and everything got wiped out which was horrible because now I have to spend hours redownloading everything which was really annoying. I'm still redownloading stuff right now. I don't really find iOS5 that much better. Its not much different to be honest. Ok sure, maybe some of the basic apps changed a tiny bit but they still do the same things. Hope I finish transferring my apps soon because I gotta sleep soon...

BOREDD

It's Pro-D Day and it's raining. Thats a pretty bad combination. The rain basically ruined my whole Pro-D. It made me stay home the whole day. I was gonna go out to skateboard or maybe hang out with my friends but the rain pretty much destroyed it both. I could've gone to the mall but no one would drive me and I'm not in the mood to walk in the rain to the mall so basically I just stayed home and watched TV and played some games and that was basically my day. I feel kinda sick right now not really getting fresh air which is bad. Good thing I had cadets in the afternoon otherwise i wouldn't have got out and moved and get some air.

PRO-D

Its another pro-d day and I'm glad its the end of the week. I'm like so tired. I'll be getting much more sleep tomorrow which is nice.

Today we during science we had to make a DNA strand with candy which was pretty nice cuz we got to eat it after. We used marshmallows and licorice. The marshmallows were pretty good but the licorice tasted pretty disgusting.

Alot of people went to Fright Night tonight and I wish I could've gone. I had like French so I couldn't go. It would be nice though if I went. Going on some rides and getting scared. It'd be pretty fun. *sigh* I'm tired so imma go to sleep. bye.

LONSDALEE QUAYYYYY

We went to Lonsdale Quay again and it was basically just like last year like i predicted. Nothing really changed expect for the fact that we did different things this time. I found my partner, Mason, and hes like super tall. He's like a bit taller than me which makes him taller than all the Grade 8s and the Grade 9s. He actually recognizes me. My friend told him to find me or something but yea. He's pretty cool.

There wasnt really anything special that happened today except for the fact that Mason got yelled at today at the end of fieldtrip. Me and Mason were on the bus talking and Mason was talking pretty loud. There was an old lady next to us and she just spazzed out really bad. She was like yelling at Mason and she swore. She was like, " WHY ARE YOU TALKING SO LOUDD. YOUR FRIEND IS RIGHT NEXT TO YOU AND YOU'RE YELLINGG. ****ING CRAZYYY." It was really really scary. I'm not even kidding. Then i dunno why but I saw her like write on her newspaper and I couldn't really read it but she was like writing the words next to a picture of a guy and she wrote like swear words. Omg... I'm gonna have like nightmares tonight.

I had like no idea that Churchill did a lipdub until like 3 or 4 of my friends posted it on Facebook.

WE HAVE A FIELDTRIP TOMORROW AND ITS GONNA BE THE BE THE FIRST FIELDTRIP OF THE WHOLE YEARRR. I'm pretty excited to meet my partner tomorrow. My friend from like cadets told me to find some grade 8 guy named mason in synergy so i did. AND I JUST REMEMBER I FORGOT TO HAND IN MY FIELDTRIP FORM.

THIS RUINED MY DAYY

I just saw the saddest news ever and it really really scarred me. It was like pretty disturbing. It was news about this poor two year old girl in China that was just walking by unsupervised. She didnt notice the van coming by and the van just ran over her. The van driver didn't even care and pretended like nothing happened and just continued the van. The child was on the ground like bleeding and in total there were 18 people who passed by. The 18 people just ignored her like nothing happened and continued on walking trying not to look at her and a truck came by and just rolled over her which was really disturbing. The driver didn't even care. How could those people be like this. So selfish. So uncaring. The 19th person to pass by was a street cleaner lady and she picked up the poor girl to a safer place and cried for help. I have the video below and I really have to say, it's really really disturbing. I cannot express this more. Even though the video is not too clear, you could see exactly what is happening to the girl. I just can't explain how angry and sad I am right now. I wish the best for her and her family. Right now the girl is in a critical condition. Please do not watch the video if you are sensitive. I can guarantee you that you will feel anger and sadness after this video. Be prepared.

SALMON

I just came back from the trip and it was pretty close to last year.

Right at the morning we got dressed, ate, packed our stuff, and left the house. We first went to MacDonalds for lunch and we soon headed for the salmon place. It was pretty much like last year except there was more water which prevented less fish from flopping up to the surface and dying. The only dead fish I saw were the ones in the water where they were upside down and they turned all white. There were alot of salmon and you could see some like jump up which was pretty neat. After the whole thing I had to go to the washroom and they had porta potties set up. I don't usually go in porta potties but this was an emergency. I went it everything was fine until i looked at the toilet. It was like a toilet filled with everything. I was expecting a flusher or something but nope. All the stuff that the people produced were all there stored. It was pretty disgusting. Omg I feel like throwing up now.

Yup, this week and I'm gonna do the same thing i did last year, go back to watch the salmon come back. Last year I saw Jason there and I don't think its gonna happened this time again because he's probably not gonna go. This year my aunts going with us since shes staying here for a week. I have to finish all my homework today because we're probably gonna be late coming back tomorrow since it's actually pretty far. It's most likely gonna be like last year. I know cuz I go there every year. Nothing really changes. Theres gonna be lots of salmon swimming around and some which flopped onto the surface and died. The dead fish eventually turns white.

A GOOODD DAYYYYY =D

I had a pretty good day in general. We actually played football in like sunny weather and it was really awesome and fun. We did some passing and learnt how to start the game and what to do and where to go. It was really fun. This is actually like one of the best P.E. classes I've had even though I was late and I couldnt get my form signed because I didn't have my info written down but otherwise, it was really really good. Then after P.E. I had Strings which wasn't as good. Mr. Hill got alot stricter this class for like no reason. English, we had a test which wasn't so nice. At the end we had Science which turned out awesome. I got like perfect for my test and I was like yelling like OMGGGGG. Yea. It's a good day.

BEAUTIFUL DAYYY

It was like gloomy this morning and then nearing lunch there was like a huge sun out and it was like super sunny. It was almost like summer but it was a bit cold. I really really hope I get this weather tomorrow. I have like football and the last thing I wanna do is get soaked and get my shoes and socks wet and smell for the rest of the day.

I've been like listening to like Simple Plan ever since school started and I'm like looking at their old songs. They have some really nice songs like Welcome to My Life, or like This Song Saved My Life, or the song that made me like start listening to me, Jet Lag. I could like relate to most of their songs.

We just started the football unit today and it was like all wet outside. The grass stuck to my shoe and there were puddles everywhere. The ball was slippery and my hands got really dirty. It was a pretty bad PE class. Football really sucks with rainy weather. The balls really hard too so it hurts when you catch the ball. My shoes were all wet after the whole thing and I had to wipe the grass off. I wish we'd continue weightlifting or do different like badminton. I mean I'd even do square dancing instead of football. Hope it doesnt rain on Friday.

COLLAB AND A SCIENCE TESTTT

WE HAVE A COLLAB TOMORROW AND JUST IN PERFECT TIMING. We have like a Science test tomorrow and I could be studying all morning tomorrow. I could have time to put on my contacts which usually takes me like 10 mins-20 mins. My eyes got like really irritated at the end of school and I was literally crying. The feeling was like sand in your eyes but like 2 times worse. I couldnt even open my eyes. If I did, it would like hurt and I'm not allowed to like touch my eyes either cuz my hands were dirty and the contacts could move which would irritate my eyes even more and I'd be blind. Imma be a good good boy and get good marks and go study now. BYEEEEE

THANKSGIVING PARTYYYY

I JUST FINISHED MY THANKSGIVING PARTY TODAYY AND IT WAS FUN. I saw like all my old elementary friends and some people from Churchill and its nice seeing them again. No one really changed that much. We played like some dart tag and we then after some dart tag we played some games like NHL 12 and like COD which was like pretty fun. After the whole party I realized that I lost all my darts for like my guns so now I'm like bulletless. I did have alot of fun though. Too bad it was like raining and wet outside otherwise we would've like played a little basketball or like skateboard a little. Dinner was okay too I guess. There was pumpkin pie, turkey, vegetables, samosas, spaghetti, and some korean food my friend brought. It wasnt the best party ever but it beats staying at home alone. Hopefully the Christmas party will be better. We'll have a huge snowball fight.

MY AUNTTT

My aunt just recently came over and shes staying with us for a few days and it's great having her here. When I was little she took care of my when my parents were busy with work. I would like stay at her place everytime school ends. I remember she would like play games with me or like help me build stuff with lego and just make me have fun. She makes pretty good food and she was really nice. Then she moved to Hong Kong and I haven't seen her for like years. I'm like much taller than her now and we're just like strangers again. I wasnt as comfortable with her as I was years ago. What happened.

TAKEWONDOOOO

Another great great takewondo lesson. I did some pretty nice jumping kicks again and my friend recently just joined the same Takewondo class as me. It was pretty dang fun. I had to break like 3 boards and it was pretty dang hard. I had to do two kicks in the air ad break 2 boards and a punch which is suppose to break a board. Then there was another jumping kick where you were suppose to break 3 boards in the air with just kicks. I'm actually pretty good at that one. Then we did some sparring and I was pretty good at it. My friend was pretty clumsy though. He was like falling and tripping everywhere. He's alot stronger than me but hes not quick. Thats the problem.

PREPARING FOR DA PARTY

I spent basically the whole day preparing for the party. I had to buy pop, snacks, food, plates, cutlery, and some new games. Me and my parents went to Landsdowne for some shopping and we bought some plates and cutlery at Zellers. Then I went to Best Buy to get some games. I was like searching for Dead Island everywhere and I asked some guy and he told me it was sold out. I was all disappointed and I just decided to get NHL 12 and I went to the cashier to pay for it. When I was paying I asked the cashier if they had Dead Island. They were like searching it on the computer and when they said they had it, it basically made my day. I was like so freakin happy. Dead Islands pretty fun. NHL 12 is pretty good too but its like so freakin hard to like control. I'm goin to Costco or Superstore tomorrow to get the food. EXCITED FOR DAA PARTY!!!!!

A DAY WITH CONTACTS

I SURVIVED THE WHOLE DAYY WITH CONTACTS WHICH WAS AWESOMEEE. It did feel kinda uncomfortable and I had to be careful with my eyes because the contacts are pretty fragile. They move pretty easily but P.E. was actually pretty good today probably cuz it was just weightlifting. We're doing football next class and it's a pretty bad time to do it. It's gonna be wet outside and the last i wanna do is be outside, get soaked, and smell bad for the rest of the day. ANYWAYS, after I took my contacts off at the end of the day I got super dizzy which was bad. I couldn't even go to French.

THANKSGIVING PARTYY

YAYAYAYAYAYAYA. My parents agreed to have a Thanksgiving party just like every year . I didn't have one last year not sure why but I'm definitely having one this year. I'm still in the process of inviting people and it's like super confusing. I'm inviting people from like Hamber too so I have to like organize the people there and ask some of my friends to ask them at Hamber. I'm still confused in who's coming and who's not. I still have to prepare the food like the turkey and the spaghetti and the samosas. I'm kinda excited but usually a party= things getting broken and alot of cleaning up after. WISH MEE LUCKKK.

ANOTHERR DAYY

Another day of school

First thing today I had my Socials presentation which was okay... Everything went pretty well and I have to say I'm just glad to get the whole thing over with. After SS we had AS and it was good as usual. Then I had French and the teacher taught us numbers and she told us that dix is sounded out like deese and not dix which means 10 in french. She kept saying dix in the english pronouncation and talking about the pronouncation and a bunch of people misunderstood and started laughing. Then after French I had Math which was pretty nice. My friend finished woodworks and he had a piece of wood left and he just threw it into my other friend's water and he got so pissed. It was kinda funny in a mean way. Then after that we had a Math test which was pretty easy and then after school I had violin lessons and my teacher didn't yell at me again which was pretty good because I expected to finish the lessons coming out crying but nope. It turned out pretty nice. Just another usual day.

MOVIESSS

Its been like years and years since I've seen Stuart Little and today I just found it showing on TV. It's awesome just seeing it again and hearing the tiny little mouse's voice and his face. I missed it a lot. I almost cried just seeing it again. It brought back a bunch of memories and I remember the first time I saw it. I was just clung to it and I watched like all the movies. Theres a bunch of movies that brought back a lot of memories especially Toy Story. My aunt bought me Toy Story 1 and 2 and I watched it like at least 5 times. I remember going to this Toy Story on Ice show where I got my Toy Story action figures. Toy Story 3 just isn't the same as Toy Story 1 and 2. I miss Andy as a little kid. 

MA CONTACTS

Today was offically the first day I went somewhere wearing my contacts. I decided to wear my contacts to Chinese school. I remember the first time I tried putting them on, my eyes were like filled with tears. It got a lot better. Wearing them to chinese school was ok but it wasn't exactly super comfy. It still felt a bit weird and sometimes I would get blurry spots when i see. I think I didn't wear it properly. Right now I still prefer glasses over contacts just because its easier and more comfortable. I'll probably start wearing contacts to school maybe by Friday if it turns out well.

Right when I woke up I got dressed all early to go to Richmond for some dim sum. I think I haven't had dim sum ever since like summer. After dim sum I went to pick up my contacts that I ordered a week ago. The doctor taught me how to put them on and how to remove them and it's pretty easy. I personally like removing them more because its like a relief getting the contacts outta ur eye. It feels like having sand in your eye when you have contacts on and when you remove them it's like getting the sand out. I did mess up like one time when I tried putting them on. It went to like the side of my eye and the doctor was like rubbing my eye and it hurt like crazy and he had this cool plumbing tool thing that sucked the contacts out and saved me from the pain. Hope it doesn't mess up again.

Today Joanna took a picture of Roys muscles while he was flexing and she posted it on facebook. It was on the homepage and it was like disturbing. Everytime i when through the new feed, I have to see Roys muscles. It's pretty funny though. Especially the comments. In the background you can see like people staring at him.

Today was voting dayyy and my vote didn't even count. I was like ticking the boxes out at the end of class and me and my friend packed up everything and put our chairs up and we were talking bout who each other voted. And as we were heading to the teacher handing the votes in she told us we had rotten votes. I had like no idea what she meant. She told us to recycle it so we did. I'm not sure if it was us handing it in late or us talking bout our votes but it really sucked. Wonder whos gonna be rep this year.

right now me Alex and Jason are editting this video and its really not turning out that well. Our footage was amatuerish I guess you could say and its not intense enough. We did have alot of fun doing this but its too simple. I'm doing my best to edit it right now and I have to say myself. This time editting is much better than me editting my own videos. When I woke up the first thing that happened was a power outage which was honestly the last thing i needed. It was dark outside so without lights I couldn't see a thing. I had to use a flashlight and find my way to the bathroom and find my way out. My mom couldn't cook anything so I just had cold cereal and cold pizza for lunch. When it was time for school my dad had to lift the garage door open and get the car out and it was pouring outside. The day got alot better though. Today my strings tutor teacher didn't yell at me for the first time and he actually said I did pretty good. I was proud.

It was like raining bullets today. I was finishing up homework in my room today and then I heard these like loud taps and I thought my dad was like hammering something and when I checked outside it was like raining super hard. When I finished my homework I couldn't even go out till like a few hours later. I went out skateboarding which wasn't a good idea at all since the floor was wet and my grip tape got wet. I had the hardest math test on wednesday.

I heard that the marks were like horrible and I thought I failed. The questions were pretty hard but I cant believe I actually got them. I got like a freakin 13/14 and I was like super happy. Most of the people hate math class but I actually like it. Not cuz of this test but cuz my friend makes me laugh to like death and usually I'm like rolling on the floor laughing my freaking head off. Theres also these big desks with these holes and you could put ur feet up on this ledge thingy and basically it acts as a foot holder which makes it much more comfortable. Todays a good day. =DD

Its a pretty good day for it actually because it was pouring this morning. I'm just glad we didnt have to do like 6 lap or langara because I heard the block 2-2 had to do it but I'm pretty sure it got cancelled. I improved alot on my fitness thingy and I grew like 4 cm which is pretty good. I went from like 166 at the start of Grade 8 to like 177 at the start of Grade 9 which I'd have to say myself is pretty good. I got better at like sit and reach and i jumped higher and got faster. I'm growing up =DD

FIRSTT COLLABBB

YAYYAAAAAAA. Its collabb tomorrow. Finally a day where you get to sleep in a little and still go to school. Too bad theres only once a month. The bad part bout this collab is that the only class I really wanna shorten tomorrow is french but unfortunately its 3rd block which really sucks. We have a skit for french and me and my partner really havent gotten a chance to practise really. It kinda suxs too because I really don't feel like doing projects or tests during the first month of school. We have like 3 projects right now and I'm still stuck in my summer break zone. I turned into a fat lazy pig during the summer.

NO HOPEEE

SOOOO SADDDD.
I just found out today that my eyes can never ever ever be fixed. If you eyes didn't know this, my eyes are -800. I thought I actually had hope and that I would fix my eyes. Then today the doctor told me my eyes were horrible and that u have to be -400 or above to have your eyes fixed by doing the eye correction thing where you wear contacts at night. Right now my only choice is to wear hard lenses which slows down the increasion which scares me. It means my eyes will get worse. By the time I'm 17 I'm scared I'll be blind.

YYAYAYAYYAYAYA. I got my very first youtube video for me and my friends new channel done. WOOOTT. It's pretty hard editting and acting out all the stuff but overall it was a pretty nice funny video. We put a load of effort into it and it turned out ok. Hope this will work out.
Anyways its finally the end of the weekend. FINALLY. and we have like 3 projects to do which sucks. I can tell this years gonna be tough.

SAMOSA

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmm. AWWW YEAAAAAAA. THE TASTE OF A NICE FRESH SAMOSA RIGHT AT HOME. How you may ask. Answer is... Costco. I bought some premade samosas and we just went back home and baked the samosas in an oven. Ohhh myyyyy goodnesss. it was so freaking good. there was like sauce too and I ate like 2 after school and like 2 at like 9. I'm getting super fat now. Oh gawd. too full. The samosas were pretty spicy which just made it so much better. I can still smell it. I think i gained like 5 pounds.

I SPENT MY WHOLE AFTERNOON TODAYY MAKING A YOUTUBE VIDEOOO. It was much harder than I expected but it was really fun. I'll make alot more in the future and hopefully get some subs and get more views. It took us like 5 hours to think of an idea and actually record and shoot the videos. It's really amateur but I added some sound effects and it looks pretty cool. The topic is: How To Be Cool.
It's ok funny I guess and it should be better than my own videos because I shot it with my friend but the audio but be a bit too quiet but thats a main problem so far. It will be posted on a totally different channel on FRIDAYYY.

LOLOLOLOLOL. Omg.. Im laughing so hard right now. Jason gave me a video and showed me some videos on this game I'm about to get and also included these videos of mods. The game's Dead Island and its like a zombie FPS on this island. Well like this mod was like this guy sounding like Bruce Lee punching like super fast. The guy was like yelling YIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIY and it just kept spamming and it got super messed up with my mic and Jason was like laughing so hard. That was intense.

TODAYYYY I ATE FREAKKINNN MOON CAKE. As you probably all know it's the Chinese Moon Cake Festival or if thats how they call it. The moon was like freakin huge and we ate like lobster and chicken and like pork. Basically all you do is just eat. I made a wish under the moon and ate my Moon Cake and had fun I guess. My parents also lectured me why I shouldn't do youtube videos. Well i was just planning on having some fun thinking of ideas but since I can't think of a single idea and my parents disapprove its pretty hard. Todays 9/11 and all my friends told me not to go outside so I decided to stay indoors the whole day. My family and me did take a minute to remember the unfortunate event that has happened 10 years ago. After that we decided to clean the house and I was in charge of cleaning out toys and donating stuff we didn't need. I went through all my old toys and I got like a flashback of me when I was little and what I would do with these toys. I actually ended up spending like 2 hours playing with my old toys and having fun. I miss being in elementary...

Just found out that chinese class doesn't start till next week so i figured i gotta do something to celebrate. Me and my friends decided to watch a movie downtown. It was pretty fun. We spent a few hours finding White Spot for like lunch and it took us till 1:30 pm to actually find it. After lunch it was 3 pm with like a few hours left in our day. We ended up not even watching the movie. We just went to like Oakridge for smoothies and went back to elementary for some memories. That was basically our day. It was pretty fun. Better than chinese school =/

"Every Monday after school, I always have violin lessons. It makes my life a little bit harder and makes my hatred for Mondays stronger but it usually turns out well except today. I remember my birthday party clearly. *sigh* I could cry just thinking about it. I can't believe it's already been half a year since my birthday. It seemed like yesterday that it happened. I gotta say. Grade 8 zoomed past quick. And I gotta say to all those people out there that made Grade 8 special, I love you in a totally non-homo way. You guys were great.

JASON ZHOU: You're a pro. You were the first person I've ever talked to in Synergy and I gotta say you made my Synergy days the best. You would always make me laugh and I would sometimes even go to the point of crying of laughter. You're welcome at my house anytime bro. You mean a lot to me and you're always so awesome. You encouraged me in stuff I don't remember and I love the way you tease me. Without you, I would've never started making youtube videos.

ROY LI: You're the strongest person I know. You always make me laugh too. I get at least one funny comment from you everyday. You're ahtletic and all the girls fall for you man. You always flex your muscles right at me which I'm not impressed at all =.=  dude.. Some advice for you. Don't flex your muscles in front of a guy... I still remember the days you tried to skateboard which was awesome because you fell and you made me laugh hard. You're awesome Roy.

GABRIEL UY: Oh Gabe. You sometimes make me laugh hard too. You would always be there if I got upset. You would always encourage me and I love arguing with you about hockey. You're right. Canucks will bring the cup home. You're special and you're a real true friend who would never leave my side. I know what you want before summer to make your life more special and trust me bro. It'll happen. Thanks for helping me with my homework and I don't regret meeting you and talking to you on the first day. CYNTHIA HO: Cynthia Cynthia Cynthia. Still remember the first day you've talked to me. It was on facebook and you clearly stated who you liked right away which was kinda funny. I did my best to help you with your "guy problems" and I guess it was fun just seeing you get all obsessed over a guy. Sorry you never actually got to like be with a guy. You were really close but at least you got a dance with him. You were awesome and funny and just a great person.

JUDY ZHU: Judy. I like how you always yell and smack people for no apparent reason. Like how you smacked Jason in the eye. That was horrible and you did it randomly and you smacked me with your lunchbag right on the head. You were strong. I almost thought I was bleeding from that but unfortunately for you, you didn't get to see my blood. Poor you. You're probably studying or doing homework right now getting ready for end of third term. You're like a guy but in a good way. You understand everything I say and thanks for your help.

JOSH LAM: Playing with our ipods and itouches during math is awesome. XDDD. It all started from playing hockey then it came to games which was awesome. Balloons Tower Defense and now Modern Combat. Hope you had fun playing Modern Combat with me cuz I guess this would be the last time. I'd just like to say, you get high way too often. I'll make sure we get the same classes next year so we can play together again and still get As in math. *sigh* we finish all our homework in class and still play. How pro are we.
