tulipsss

todaysss Sundayyyy and I got nothing to do so me and my parents decided to go out to Agassiz to check out the tulips there and compare the tulips there with the tulips in the US. I have to say, the tulips at Agassiz were much more beautiful. There were many different colors and there was a mountain at the back to make it just that much more beautiful. Here are some pictures.

chineseee

omgggg this week for chinese school I studied super super hard. LIKE SUPER SUPER HARD. Even when i was done studying I still insisted on studying some more. This week's dictation was pretty easy and I guess I wanted to get a good mark for once. When i got to class, I studied some more before the dictation and when I finally did it, I did like pretty good. I might even have gotten like 100%. Then after that, the teacher announced that next week we won't be doing dictations. It's like one good news after another. Today was a pretty good day. I even got some sushi after chinese school and best part is, tomorrow's Sunday so I get to sleep in and get lots and lots of rest. Yay.

chocolate

Today for S.S. we watched a video on where where our chocolate comes from. Most of the coco beans that are used to make chocolate come from Africa and the video talked about the child labour there. Most of the children there would be taken to collect coco beans instead of going to school. They would get about 90 pounds for a whole bag of coco beans and the 90 pounds would be split between families. They would roughly make 1000 pounds a year.

Anyways, a few days ago, my mom's sister gave birth to a baby boy. He weighed 7 pounds and it was the 3rd baby she gave birth too. Congratulations to them. That'll probably be the final baby she'll have. Hope he grows up to be a healthy, big boy. My dad's sister's about to give birth soon anytime this year. She's about 18 weeks pregnant sooo yea. Her baby is expected to be around this year at fall or winter. Pretty exciting.

OMGGG

Today was the Bruins and the Capitals Game 7 and guess who won? THE CAPITALSSSS. omggg. Isn't it kinda sad how the teams that got to the Stanley Cup finals last year both lost in the first round of the playoffs. I still can't believe we lost that quickly. I hope we're a stronger team next year and maybe even have a chance at winning the cup.

Anywayss, today wasn't such as great of a day as I expected it to be. We had an English test today and I don't know if I did well on it or not. I thought after the test it was gonna be all fun but I got soo tired in the afternoon that I didn't even wanted to play badminton. I didn't do as well as I did last class but I still made some pretty good saves. Gabe's actually really good at badminton. Hope I'll be more energetic next time. This is why I don't really like P.E. last period. You end up all tired.

omggg photography and dance people were sooo lucky. They got to go on a fieldtrip to a beach and I'm just left at school being soo lonelyy. Omggg. Well I don't know if I should be glad that I didn't go or if i should be glad. Then again it was raining pretty hard today. *sigh*. Anyways. On facebook, there were some pictures of the fieldtrip and the beach looked pretty beautiful. Pretty much like half the class was gone. There weren't many people left in Synergy and we didn't even end up doing Condomania. I think it's rescheduled to next class. Hope it's sunny tomorrow. Then again, probably not very likely. *sigh* I guess rainy days have its own beauty in it too. 

Todayyy

Whoa the new blogger look is like super different. I don't know if it's good or bad. The design is pretty nice but now it's all white and plain. Too plain. I don't really like it. Anywaysss. Another day 2. I think I'm starting to enjoy day 2s more. Probably just because we're doing badminton and I look forward to doing badminton like every day 2 now and its funnn. I did pretty good today. I think I'm improving. Too bad badminton's ending soon. We've been doing about 2 and a half weeks of badminton so far and I think badmintons for like 3 weeks. Well at least I think it is. It might be a month but even if it is, we only have like 1-3 more classes left of badminton left. At least soccer's after and I've been looking forward to playing some soccer too. Hope it doesn't rain when we actually do go out for soccer. It would suck playing in the rain. but yea. I can't believe theres only 2 more months of school left. Grade 9 really passed by really quick. Too quick. I wish I could slow down time. If only.

HOLYYY MOLEYYYY
I just finished my debate today and omgggg I was like sooo nervous. Don't you just hate it when you're presenting and you get like super nervous and you start mispronouncing words. That happens to me a lot and it usually takes a while for me to get comfortable with actually speaking in front of other people. When I actually did get comfortable, I went monotone and I sounded like I was asleep and it's just bad. I need to work on my speaking skills. omgg. Anywaysss in the end, even though we made some pretty good points, we ended up losing. *sigh*. the opposition did pretty well and yeaaaa. At least I got it over with. 

U.S.

soooo today my parents and me decided to go to the US for Tulip Town to takes some pictures and see how beautiful the tulips were there and go to the outlet for some shopping and get some groceries at Costco. It was a pretty busy day. We woke up early at 8 in the morning and I was so sleepy. I don't usually get up till like 9 or 10 on Sundays. Anyways we wanted to go early so hopefully there wouldn't be many people crossing the US border there was still a pretty long lineup. Anyways by the time we got to Tulip Town it was about 10 or 11 and it was beautiful there.

after Tulip Town, we went straight to Premium Outlet to see if theres anything new worth buying. I found two pretty nice tee-shirts and a pair of shorts. As for my parents, they bought some shoes. Finally, by the time we reached Costco, it was around 4pm and we were there to get some groceries. Anyways, after all that, we finally headed back home. The lineup was super long when we were at the border and we waited for roughly about an hour. It was pretty fun though. 

Earth Day dutyyyyy

omgggg todayyy I just finished my first Earth Day duty at Everett Crowley Park for St. Johns. I got some experience of what it was like to go on these kind of duties. It's actually quite nice. You don't really do much and pretty much all you do is just sit at your first aid post and stand by. Every hour or two you might walk around the park to see if everything's okay and then you just head back to your post. There weren't many people today so nothing much happened today. One kid got a scrap on her hand from falling and one of our higher ranking members cleaned the wound and applied a bandaid. I didn't get to do any first aid but I did get a chance to learn how to record information down on a legal document about the injury and such. But really, you don't do much. I spent most of the time playing hangman with my friend during the duty soo yea. Even the leaders told us to bring something to do next time we go on duties like this. It was pretty nice though seeing people plant trees and making mud pies to celebrate Earth Day. It was a beautiful day.

Proooo D

soooo it turned out that yesterday was Jamieson's 50th anniversary and I really had no idea about it till a week ago when my friend whos in Grade 6 right now told me about it. He told me all about what they did. They had an assembly to celebrate it and everyone had cupcakes. If only I was still in Jamieson.

ANYWAYS, today was a Pro-D and really I didn't do much. I was gonna maybe have lunch with some friends but I never really got a chance because my parents made me stay home. They said I go out too often and I have like a chinese dictation tomorrow so I had to stay home and study and finish as much homework as I can. Not much of a Pro-D. but anyways, I got a St. John duty tomorrow to help out at a park for Earth Day. I'm still not quite sure what I'm doing tomorrow yet but I'm excited. Happy Early Earth Day =D

Social Media

today Jessie Miller came to our school to talk about the effects of social media like Facebook and such. He showed us how easy it was to stalk a person's Facebook and how easy it was to search you up. He even showed us a video about him stalking us. It was really creepy because I saw a bunch of people I knew. The creepiest part was, even my facebook profile was up there on the video. i was just shocked. He also mentioned how your posts and everything u ever had on your facebook is actually recorded and it never goes away. the waste you leave behind stays. He also talked about how employers stalk your profile on everything before they even hire you so they know what you're really like. I really made me think how easy it really is to find someone. No one's safe.

Canucks

dangggg. the science test. I was actually a lot easier than I thought. I'm pretty confident on it. I think I got a decent mark on it. But yea, pretty good.

Anyways, these people came to our school for a musical performance and everyone from band and strings went to watch. Basically they were just there to play some songs and teach you some stuff. We got to watch them for the whole period and they were really good.

ANYWAYSSS. WOOOOOT. THE CANUCKS WONNNN. 3-1 Daniel Sedins back and I think we could start winning some games. If the Kings could win 3 straight games then why can't we. We made some really good plays and Schneider did pretty well at net. Looking forward to next game. =). Lets hope we win all of the next 3 games. I'm sure we can do it.

Pre-IB

OMGGGGG
Today, some people were called down to the Pre-IB office and it turns out that they were accepted for Pre-IB. It was probably because there were some people that could get in but didn't want to. Andy, Kevin, and Tony all got in and they were really happy. But there's always two sides to things. Unfortunately not everyone in Synergy got in. *sigh* I hope they're still accepting tomorrow but it would be awesome of everyone got in. Especially Roy. He's smart and he deserves it more than anyone. It sucks to see people sad and I wish I could do something about it. If only it was a win-win situation for everyone then no one would feel left out or be depressed.

FIELDTRIPPPP

today we had a fieldtrip to Capilano University and it's pretty far from here. It's all the way in North Vancouver and it takes about a 45 minute drive. We went there to learn all about genes and we even got a chance to use some lab equipment there and work with DNA. It was quite interesting and it was pretty fun. Bad part was, after the fieldtrip, we have a test right after on everything we did and it's gonna be super hard. Some of the stuff that we did today was actually pretty hard to understand. Anyways, that was the 2nd fieldtrip of this year I believe and I'm hoping we get more in the future. Anyways though, I learnt a lot and I also got an aspect of what it was like to be in university. I think it's the first time I've ever been on a fieldtrip to a university. 

SUNNN RUNNNNN

I SURVIVED THE SUN RUNNNN. OMGGG and i'm sooo tired right now. There was alot of people. It was actually quite cold today. I expected it to be all sunny and hot today so I put sunscreen on and I brought my sunglasses and wore just the Sun Run t-shirt. In the morning, it was freezing and I expected it to get warmer by noon but it was just as cold. I stayed cloudy for the whole day so yea. The weather forecast lied. Anyways, I walked some and ran some and now my feet hurt. I walked ALOT today. After the Sun Run I skytrained back home and I went over to my friend's house then we went to Oakridge for lunch then we went back to their house and hung around a little. He showed me around his house and it was pretty nice and big. He even showed me his rabbits and they were sooo cute. I have some pictures below.

SUN RUNNNN

TOMORROWWW'S THE SUN RUNNN!!!!! Omg. It's gonna be my first Sun Run so I'm kinda excited. I'm really not sure what to expect tomorrow. From what I've heard, there's gonna be ALOT of people going tomorrow. I'm meeting up with some friends tomorrow at my house to go together so I won't feel so lonely. They're also running with me and I'm still deciding what our schedule for tomorrow will be. Wonder how many people there actually are tomorrow.

Anyways, today for Chinese school we had like our first in class unofficial fieldtrip. Well it wasn't really much of a fieldtrip. All we really did was like go outside and enjoy the sunshine and the teacher was like teaching us about nature and stuff because we were doing this unit on Spring and he wanted us to feel Spring. That was the first time in Chinese school where I've actually gone out. So yea. That was like a fieldtrip for me. If only we would do that more often. It was beautiful today. :)

Friday the 13th

Well todays Friday the 13th and it's just a beautiful gorgeous day. The skies were so blue and it was so sunny. I walked to school first thing this morning even though it was cloudy knowing it was gonna be a nice day. It's really getting hot these days. Yea. It felt a little like summer today.

Anyways, I'm kinda depressed right now because I've had a long day and the Canucks lost again. Omg. The Canucks played pretty bad today. After the game, it pretty much just ruined the day for me. I'm not in the mood to do anything right now and I just wanna forget everything that happened and just go to sleep. *sigh*. What if we lose the next two games... Then it's all over.

A Parallel Universe

Now that we're doing the research on quantum mechanics and the fact that I got the topic multiverses really got me wondering about parallel universes out there. I'm not sure if I really quite believe in it but wouldn't it be cool if there was actually a parallel universe? There would be another world with different people maybe wondering what's outside of their universe just like us wondering what's outside of ours. There might also be similar people in their universe from our universe. Wouldn't it be cool if there was another me on a different universe? I wonder how his life would be like. Would it be any better than my life here? It really makes me realize how much we don't know and how many universes there are out there. If there really is another person similar to me out there in another universe, I know you can't read this but I just wanted to say hi. :)

Block Rotation

it was block rotation again and honestly, I don't really like the rotation. For day 1s, I have Math all the way in the new wing and my locker's all the way on the other side so that means I have to walk all the way there. I was even late for Math today even though it was a collab. Turns out Ms. Knott's back which is good because she's a pretty good teacher and she's good at explaining stuff and I could actually understand her.

I don't think the day 2 block rotations are gonna be any better at all. I have Science first period and its all the way in the new wing just like Math and its a long walk from my locker to Science. That means I gotta get to school earlier which means I have to wake up earlier.

Oh My. I can't believe the Canucks lost. Horrible. 4-2. 

last collab of the year~

oh. my. goodness.
it's collab again. I think this rotation was gonna be pretty bad. Then again I'm not used to it and I don't really like change. Mostly day 1s are gonna be better just because I like day 1s more. Day 2s aren't gonna be that great. We have P.E. last period which is gonna be horrible because I would be all tired near the end of the day. At least it's a collab tomorrow.

Todayy my elementary friend was was passing by near my house and it turns out he longboards now. Apparently so do a lot of other people now who were from Jamieson that go to Eric Hamber. Some of them skateboard and some of them longboard but mostly longboard. It's kinda amazing. There was only like one person that skateboarded/longboarded when we were in elementary but now, there's like 7-8 people that skateboard/longboard and they're pretty good at it too. I think I should meet up with them sometime and skate together. It'll probably be loads of fun. 

Last dayy of the longg weekend

*sigh* last dayyy and I can't do much to enjoy it. Probably because I have violin lessons. Well at least I got to sleep in. Okay anyways, my teacher's done performing and he's back teaching me. Today, he finally started teaching me some Grade 7 songs soo I guess that means I'm considered Grade 7 violin now. If I'm not considered Grade 7 violin then I guess I'm at least Grade 6? I'm not sure but all I know is that I'm close to being Grade 8 violin. Once I'm done that and I pass the tests for it, I'll have reached my goal. Then maybe I could continue doing violin or try doing some other instruments. Depends what happens in the future.

Today was I about to get a haircut since it was a long weekend and I had a lot of free time so we went and it turned out that the barber was closed. So I guess I dont have to get shaved bald. Well not yet anyways. Maybe next week. I'm going to cherish my time with my beautiful hair while I still can. Hair. I'll miss you. <3

Happy Easter!!

Well today's Easter
doesn't really feel like Easter though. There really nothing special about today. There wasn't much Easter spirit anywhere. Sure there were some Easter sales and we got some days off school but it was just like any other regular Sunday. I actually spent most of today just researching about cancer for Science and finishing as much homework as I could. I did go out with my friend for like an hour or two just to get some fresh air and some exercise. We went to Oakridge for some fries then we went back home and gamed a little and went to practice some soccer like I did yesterday. I gotta get as much practice as I can.

I remember the Easters I've had before where I had sooo much fun. In elementary, I remember us as little kids going on Easter egg hunts. Obviously they weren't like real Easter eggs. They would be mini chocolate eggs. I also remember this other time for Art class, we got to paint our own eggs and yea. That was pretty dang fun. Easter just doesnt seem as special anymore.

Life.

I just realized that me being 14, I'm halfway to being 28. That kinda scares. Living through 14 years of my life having pass by in a blink of an eye scares me. In another blink of an eye I'll be done college and out working. Then whats after that? Now that I'm in like Grade 9, I just realized that next year, will be the middle of my high school years. I can't believe it's passing through so dang quickly. I never even really got to enjoy it. It's hard to enjoy high school while you study and do all your homework and projects and such. You only get one childhood in life and I'm gonna do my best to enjoy it. Only like 3-4 more years till I become an adult. Not much longer really. WHYYYYYYY. If only I could relive my childhood over and over again. If only life had a replay button. Hope they invent time travel soon.

Good Friday

GOOOOODDD FRIDAYYYYYYY
The weather was weird today. In the morning it was kinda cloudy and I thought it was raining. Then during about noon the weather started to turn nice and it was blue skies. Then there was a little bit of rain then it was nice again.

Even though the weather was weird, it was still a pretty nice day. First I had lunch with a friend of mine and then we went to marpole community centre to meet some friends for some basketball and hockey. I was going to play basketball but I was wearing jeans and it was pretty boring so I just decided to go back home and play some games. Then we decided to play some soccer at Jamieson and I changed into a t-shirt and some shorts. Thats when I finally realized that summer is almost here. It was pretty hot today. I think it's about the right time to start wearing my summer clothes. Time to get out more often and enjoy the summer breeze.

Easter's here. The long weekend is finally here. I've been waiting for this weekend ever since the start of school. *sigh*. Another 2 more days to relax. Isn't life just great? Well, then again, I have like 2 tests and like a presentation when I get back so it's not exactly freedom. At least tomorrow I get to hang out with my friends a little.

Today was another beautiful day. It wasn't so sunny this morning but in the afternoon, there were clear nice blue skies. I wish we had this kinda weather more often. It was pretty hot today too. When I had my french tutor, I was sitting beside the window and the sunshine was shining at my back so much it started to burn and my chair got heated up by the sunlight too. Hope tomorrow's another beautiful day so I could enjoy it as much as possible.

Beautiful Day

OMGGGG FINALLLLYYYYYY
a beautiful nice sunny day for once. I was in a good mood today. Just because it was it was soo sunny. I even decided to walk all the way to school. Also, we have like orienteering today and it was like perfect weather for it. Yea. I just can't stress how good of a mood I'm in today. Soooo yea. There really wasn't anything special that happened today. I just couldn't help staring out the window during English class because the sun was shining and the wind was blowing and all it reminded me of, were the beautiful summer days I've spent in elementary on the playground. There was this beautiful spot where I used to lay. I had some good memories associated around that area. It was my childhood spot and I remember one day I sat there on a clear blue day with these cherry blossom trees and I've never felt so calm or relaxed in my whole entire life before. It was memorable and that's what today felt like to me. it brought back some memories. *sigh* oh the good ol' days of elementary. I really wish I would stop growing up. 

planning for the summer

soooo today and my friend started planning for the summer and what we're gonna do.
We had some plans for going to Hong Kong on the same flight and heading there together. Honestly, I think it would be pretty fun but I would miss laying my head on my mom's shoulder. It's just so comfortable and I end up sleeping for hours in that position. It'll probably be different travelling with my friend. We planned some stuff we were gonna do in Hong Kong too. We were gonna do some shopping and walk around Hong Kong for a bit. Then we would maybe bring my friend along for some wakeboarding with my dad and finally, we might go to Ocean Park which is a pretty famous amusement park there. It sounds like a pretty exciting plan but I really doubt it's gonna happen. It's mostly because my auntie's pregnant and she's having her baby around summertime so my parents and my grandparents have to take care of her so I'm really not sure if I could be going to Hong Kong. If I don't I guess I'll just stay here for the summer and skateboard some and hang out with my friends some and game some. Soooo yea. Those are pretty much what I have for now. Summer's almost here. Can't wait to kick off and relax. I can't believe I'm going to Grade 10 next year. Thats like the middle of high school. already.

science testtt

OMGGGG SPENT ALL OF LAST NIGHT STUDYING FOR SCIENCE.
Right now I just wanna lay on my bed and sleep like a baby. Anyways, I had a long day. The science test wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I studied for it but like some of the stuff was actually pretty dang hard. Some of the stuff was just plain confusing.

My violin lessons got cancelled today again so my friend Simon came over to play some PS3 and skate a little. He's really really good at skateboarding now. I remember a year ago at the start of Grade 8 when he just started skateboarding and now, he's just so good. It's kinda cool seeing him doing all these tricks. He's a pretty quick learner considering he only skated for a year and a half. He's doing a pretty good job of teaching me new stuff right now. Hope I could be as good as him someday. =)

Whiskey

today I found out my dog came back alive.
I was just having my regular Sundays watching some TV. It was quite beautiful today too. I got a phone call from the pet hospital and it turns out Whiskey didn't actually die. I was all excited and I asked my dad to drive me there right away. When suddenly, we drove too quickly and we ran over some people and smashed right into a tree. We were both fine but we decided that the dog was more important so knowing the pet hospital was a block away, we left the car and ran down the street. I finally got to see Whiskey and we reunited. I have never been so happy in my life. We went home together as one big happy family.
