OMGGGG

I just had Langara today and I got like 12:45. Yeaaa. I'm pretty proud of myself. Compared to when I was Grade 8, I improved by like 8 minutes which is awesome. I just motivated myself to keep running and just not stop. I was like second to finish and I'm quite happy. This is a pretty good way to finish off the last few days of Grade 9.

Anyways I have a big French project that's due tomorrow and I'm up at like 2:30am doing it. I've just been so busy with other work and my partner's not really helping me at all so I'm pretty much doing like 90% of the work. Omggg I'm so tired. I just finished. phew. I get like 4-5 hours of sleep. Great. 

TRIUMFFF

SOOOOO another fieldtrip. Yup. It was kinda rainy today and it wasn't the perfect weather. It got better in the afternoon but it wasn't great weather. Anyways we went to TRIUMF today and it was pretty cool seeing all their machines. It was actually pretty big. If I didn't have a tour guide, we've probably would've been lost. Isn't it kinda amazing to think that they're working with things they can't even see? All these advancements and innovations are amazing. Yea. It was more of a knowledge fieldtrip.

Anyways I just got informed that school actually ends on Junes 15th or something. I always thought that it ended on like June 28th. Wow. So now I just realized that we actually have less time. Only like 17 more days of school. I've been thinking about summer and what I'm gonna do with my time. I really don't know. I might be doing guitar lessons again or maybe some extra Taekwondo lessons. What would suck is if I had to follow my parents to where they work for the whole day. That would pretty much ruin the whole summer. It's sooo boring. I just end up sitting there waiting hoping the day would pass by and end. That would make summer unenjoyable. I really hope it doesn't end up like that. 17 more days of school. Gotta enjoy the last few days of Grade 9. 

FIELDDTRIPP AGAINNN

wow it feels like there's been so many fieldtrips these days. Like the kayaking fieldtrip and now we get to go to TRUMF tomorrow. It's a lot to do. Wow, I can't believe it's the 28th already. There's about a month left of school until the last day and yea. Honestly, I dont want summer to come. When summer does come, I'll be bored out of my mind and I won't get to see my friends. I won't see some people ever again like Gabe who's leaving after this year. So much to miss and just not enough time to actually enjoy yourself and have fun. Well there are some good things about summer I guess. Like the weather and the freedom. Well actually not that much freedom but anyways, speaking of weather. It was sorta rainy today. This week's probably gonna be rainy. It rained like pretty dang hard a while ago and yea. Omgg. Summer, why must you come. Why can't I just stop time. omgggg.

French project

soo today Andy came over to my house to finish working on our French project that's due on Thursday. For French, we have to create a trip to a park that we were assigned and make a brochure. So far, we don't have much done. We gotten through parts of the script but we still need to finish the script and make the brochure. Right now, the plan is that I make the brochure and that Andy finishes the rest of the script. It'll be interesting to see what we'll have in the end.

Anyways other than doing the French project, I made a new video today with Andy. Well it wasn't much of a video. When we were doing French, we got kinda bored at times so to take a break, we would sing to some songs so we decided to sing to "What Makes You Beautiful". We decided to record us singing to it and BOOM! new video posted. Yeaa. Since I posted one video, I decided to stack up on videos and I ended up posting all my unposted videos. So today, I posted a cover of a song, an old video I had from before, and the vlog of Deer Lake. Yeaa. I'm getting ready to really start making some videos now. Probably during the summer. I gotta really start encouraging myself to do it. Sometimes I just get lazy but yea. I'll do my best to make videos in my free time for fun. 

Chinese Exam

omgggg. it's the last chinese exam of the year. phewww. I really hope I did well. This exam is probably gonna be super important. If I don't do well on this test then I think I have a possible chance of like flunking this grade. I'm not even sure if it's possible to flunk but yeaa I'm kinda scared. I have to prepare. If i flunk, I should decide whether I'm gonna repeat the grade, switch to mando, or just quit. Today I already gave the fee for next year so I'll most likely be continuing. It really all depends on what I'm gonna get for my exam. Honestly, I don't think I did that bad. The exam wasn't super hard and the teacher gave us Compared to last year, I did pretty well. I improved a lot. For one dictation, I got like 97% and I was pretty proud of myself. I tried pretty hard and yea. I hope I don't flunk.

Carnival

soo today was the Carnival and it was pretty similar to last year except maybe the activites and food. This year there were freezies and I was excited. I wanted freezies so badly. I haven't had a freezie since like Grade 3 or 4. That was when our school stopped selling them because it wasn't too healthy. It brings back alot of memories. The freezies only cost $0.50 which was pretty cheap. Before in elementary, I remember it would cost $1. So yeaa. The first thing I did was buy a freezie. After that, I went around the Carnival checking out the stands and what there was to do. There was this one stand of putt putt golf where if you got the ball into the hole, you would get a ticket to a free pizza. You would only get one try and not many people got it. It was free to try so me and my friends decided to try it. Some of my friends got it in and when it was my turn, I got kinda nervous but in the end, I got it in. Sooo yea. I ended up getting a free lunch. I had fun at the Carnival and I enjoyed myself.

Spring Concert

Since there's like job action and all the annual spring concert we usually have in the evening was moved to schools hours. I got to miss Strings and P.E. Well missing Strings wasn't that big of a deal because I was performing for Strings. Missing P.E. kinda sucked though. During the intermission for the concert, I went outside to check what my P.E. class was doing and it turned out there were learning how to do bounce the ball on their heads. It looked kinda fun and really wanted to play soccer than just sit and listen to performances. It's nice listening to music but soccer's more exciting. For the performance, we did pretty bad. Everyone in Strings all knew that we did horrible. We had horrible starts and sometimes we would speed up. It was kinda frustrating playing too just because of the lack of space and the group messing up at times. The band players did fairly well but it was the choir members that blew me away. The soloists of the choir were just amazing. Omgg. I wish I could sing like them <3

Kayakinggg

omggggg. Such a long day. I've done so much today and I'm like exhausted. We had to bus all the way to Burnaby. The whole trip took more than about an hour or so. The bus ride was pretty bad. I got a little carsick on the way. Anyways when we finally got there, the lake was pretty beautiful other than the fact that the water is filled with poop. We started kayaking pretty darn late. It was like 2 when we started to even kayak and we had an hour and a half of it. We started at 2 and it was relaxing just strolling around the lake. I  didnt really expect to get as wet as I did and it was kinda disgusting because it was all the poop water. At one point I decided to just lie back in my kayak and look up at the sky. It felt nice. It was a nice fieldtrip. It was also a pretty nice way to end Synergy 9. I'm gonna miss everyone. I gotta enjoy whats left of it. Only a few more weeks till schools done. Wow. Time passes by quick when you're having fun. I had fun. 

Tomorrow.

Wow. Today's been filled with ups and downs. I don't even know where to start. The weather was cloudy at times and sunny the next. So much stuff happened it's like a dream. I had lunch at the park again and even though it was sorta cloudy. The park was still so beautiful even on such a cloudy day. It's been a confusing day. I don't even know what I look forward to anymore in life. Maybe I might forward to tomorrow's fieldtrip but it's gonna rain and kayaking in the rain isn't really the best thing to do. Oh how I wish it would be sunny tomorrow. Lets cross our fingers and hope.

Photo Album

A few days ago, my dad went to have all the photos we took within these two years processed and we organized it all in this nice photo album. It's actually quite beautiful. It brought back a lot of memories like how special Christmas was and the trip to Whistler and wakeboarding during the summer. It made me kinda miss all those good moments. Especially Christmas. It was just extra special last year. Even though there weren't as many people as there would be other years, it was fun. We would have parties every year and I would invite all of my elementary friends and I'm not sure if it's special because they were the people that I grew up with that went separate ways to different high schools or just because I haven't seen them for so long. They made my childhood special. It was nice seeing them again. all the memories. Probably when I'm like 20 or 30, looking back at this photo album I'll cry. It sucks growing up. 

SUNDAYYYY

yayyyy its sunday. the day to relax and enjoy whats left of the week. Tomorrow's the last day of the 4 day weekend. Too bad it was raining though. Usually around Victoria Day, there's the Cloverdale Rodeo. We would go every year but since today was just raining we decided to call it off for a year. Instead, we went to Richmond Centre to do some shopping. My dad was trying to find a nice leather jacket and we went everyone comparing prices and seeing whats nicer. We never found the right jacket. Then I went into my favourite store there, Boathouse, and got some shirts. I also found this nice purple plaid shirt. I love purple and I love plaid shirts. After that, we went to Lansdowne to get some groceries and to go to Best Buy to see if anything new or interesting came out. My dads planning to buy me a camera near the end of the month. I'm getting the D3200 when it comes out. Yea. I'm pretty excited for that. One more day to relax. Pheww. 

Congratzz

sooo yesterday, my uncle in Hong Kong got married. So I would like to start off this blog by congratulating my uncle and his wife. Too bad I couldn't go back to Hong Kong to see attend their wedding. I have school so yeaa.

Anyways so far, I've been enjoying my 4 day weekend. Especially since Friday was the last district closure we'll have this year. Yup. We won't be having district closures for the rest of Grade 9 and upcoming Grade 10 too. Who knows when we'll get district closures back. I'll be expecting a whole lot less of breaks and days with no school. I heard it's raining tomorrow and it's kinda unbelievable since it hasn't rained for like a week or so now and it was so dang beautiful today. It's a Sunday tomorrow too so rain would kinda ruin it. Well even if it rains, we just gotta make the best out of what we have.

Cadetsss

soo today for cadets we learnt all about home health care. We went to Langara College and we went to a nursing room where we learnt all about making beds on these hospital beds and how to change the sheets when someones on the bed. It was actually was interesting. We had these dolls on the beds as pretend people and the dolls were pretty advanced and cool. There were also a lot of cool devices there. Also, we learnt how to get someone sitting up from them lying on bed and how to transfer them onto a wheelchair. It was pretty fun learning all that and it was fun doing it. I wish we would do activities like that more often.

Cuts

I don't get why some people cut themselves. I mean, there's really no point to it. You're just causing pain to yourself for no reason. From what I know, people cut themselves because they have pain emotionally and the way they choose to deal with it is just cut themselves. Really I don't get the point. You just cause more pain to yourself. If someone were to have emotional problems, they should just find someone they trust with their life and just tell them everything. Having someone there to hear your problems really help. Keeping all those emotions and feelings all bottled up inside of you is never good. You should just release them all. You'd be surprised how many people actually cut themselves. It's shocking. Even the people with the prettiest smiles hide secrets and you just never really know. They might just have the smile as a mask when they're actually broken down inside. They really just need to know that there are other ways to deal to their problems and cutting yourself doesn't help at all.

 

Beautiful eating spot

Another beautiful hot sunny day. To enjoy this weather me and Gabriel decided to go outside for lunch. The problem was, there were at least like 50 people outside just because the weather was so nice. Everyone is starting to eat outside now. We wanted a nice and quiet place where we could relax and just enjoy ourselves. I knew of a small park with some swings near our school and we decided to have lunch there. It was kinda like a picnic. We would sit under a tree for shade and after we had lunch, we would go on the swings. The best part was, there was barely anyone there so we could have peace and quiet and just enjoy ourselves. That was probably the best part of my day so far. It was just so relaxing and nice. Too bad we couldn't stay there the whole day. That's probably gonna be my new eating spot on sunny days. I'm probably gonna go there again tomorrow. 

NO MOREEE SUNNY DAYSSSS

I woke up this morning to find that the sunshiny weather wasn't so sunshiny anymore. It was actually cloudy. goodness. Out of all those days with the sunshine and the nice weather, today was actually cloudy. Well it was half cloudy anyways. There were still a lot of people wearing shorts. I guess even though it wasn't sunny it was still pretty hot.

Anyways enough of the daily rant about the weather. Today there was a huge test for S.S. today and I studied really really hard for it. I studied like 4 hours yesterday, I studied when I was walking to school with my friend, I studied a little when I finished my homework in math, and finally I studied a little during break and some during lunch. Finally when the moment came for the test, I was actually feeling good about it. The test wasn't as super hard as I expected it to be. The only really "big" part about the test was the essay. I wrote like a full page and I'm pretty proud of it. I'm actually kinda nervous about the test. I wonder what I got... Anyways COLLABB TOMORRROWWWW. YAAAYYYYY. Shortened Science and English periods with regular Strings and P.E. periodss. I'm exciteddd. Soccers sooo fun. I hope it's sunny tomorrow.

hot

oh my goodness it was boiling hot today.
my skin was burning and I almost got overheated when we had P.E. We started soccer today and it was awesomeeee. It gets tiring though chasing for the ball all the time but yea it was fun. I did okay actually. I scored like 2 goals and yeaa. I'm pretty proud of myself. it wasn't that big of a deal though. I wish we could play soccer without it being so sunny though. I felt horrible after P.E. just because it was so hot. It was actually like the first time this year that I've had too much sun. Like blue skies are fine but sometimes the sun gets annoying. But for lunch I went outside to enjoy the sunshine sooo yea. I don't totally hate the sun. Just sometimes. Summers almost here. You can tell. 

MOTHERS DAYYY

SOO today I finally gave my mom the gift I had for her. If you dont know already I bought her a beautiful necklace a few days ago. She really liked it. Well i don't know if she really liked it or she just wanted me to think she liked it. She really appreciated the gift though. It was the thought that she really appreciated. She cried and told me that it was beautiful and I put it on for her right away. She also said it was the first time she ever received a Mothers Day present and yea. My parents told me not to get something so expensive and just get a simple card next time. Yea, it was nice trying to make Mothers Day special. I'm gonna try to make next year even special. *sigh* if only Whiskey were here with me to enjoy Mothers Day. 

Self Defense

soo its another Saturday and I have my usual Taekwondo lessons. Today our teacher showed us some takedowns. We reviewed some of the arm locks and today, he showed us what we would do we someone grabbed our leg when we kicked them. If they would trip your other leg while they were holding your other leg, you would grab their arm and put it on your chest. Not only do you have something to hold onto while you fall but it makes their upper body go down with you too. Now this is where the cool stuff starts to happen. Since they're still holding your leg and you're both on the ground, you take your other leg and put it between the head and their arm that was holding the leg. You then would have him in an arm lock and you just push ur hip up and you would be able to break their arm. Yea. It was pretty fun.

Anyways it's been a pretty nice week with the good weather and all. Its also Mother's Day. HAPPY MOTHERS DAYY EVERYONEEE. TO ALL THE MOTHERS OUT THERE, HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAYY. I love you mom and grandma.

New Student

soo today, my friend introduced me to a new student who recently came to Churchill. His name's Julien and apparently he came from Japan. He says he's half Japanese and half Canadian. He's actually pretty good at English. His pronunciation was excellent and he made some grammar errors from time to time but he was pretty good. There were a lot of people that were really friendly and helped him around and stuck with him. They were all trying to speak Japanese and learn how to say what. He seemed like a pretty nice guy and he kinda looked like this youtube singer named Sam Tsui. Thats what I thought anyways. Hope he has a nice time at Churchill. I'll do my best to get to know him better. 

Words.

Sometimes words could hurt more than actions could. Whether you're a grownup or just a simple child, it all hurts the same. Once you've said something, you could never ever take it back. It could never be forgotten but only forgiven. You have to be careful with the words you say and you really have to think it through. Sometimes it just might be too late when you already blurted it out. Probably all of you have regretted something you've said before in your life and you just wanted to go back in time and fix it but you can't. Not just words but actions too. I hate regretting things. Why couldn't I have just done it right in the first place. I really need to decide hard before I do stuff. 

PROOO-D

Sooo since it's pro-d and it's mother's day soon, I decided to go shopping with my friend to find a good mother's day gift. It was actually a lot harder than you think. You had to find something that was affordable yet nice. There were a lot of things you couldn't buy. You can't buy shoes because you don't know what she would like and what size her feet are. You can't buy clothes either for the same reasons. I even considered buying stuffed animals for her. I went around Richmond Centre going through store after store. I even went into jewelry shops in Richmond Centre but it was just too expensive. Then me and my friend decided to go to other malls so we went to Aberdeen since it was close. There were a lot of jewelry shops there too and that's when I found a good present. There was this nice necklace that costed $70. For a 14-year old that was pretty expensive. I had exactly $80 on me and without even a second thought, I bought it. I hope she likes it. The thing about giving is that you end up feeling good about yourself. This is probably the biggest gift I've given anyone. Now I'm starting to feel guilty about not getting anything for my dad. I feel that if one deserves a gift, there shouldn't be another left out. What do I dooo. 

Starting a new life.

Have you ever regretted something you've done in your life? Have you ever made mistakes after mistakes affecting your life? You feel like you just want to start a brand new life so that everything would go away and you could start all over again. Even though you start a brand new life, you're still going to make mistakes along the way no matter how hard you try to be perfect. Making mistakes is part of life. Everything happens for a reason and if we don't make mistakes, we're not human. We all learn from our mistakes and I guess the mistakes are part of what makes us the people we are today. We should all be proud of what we've done and we should never regret. Don't try to start over when you've already accomplished so much.

mondayyss

ughh. mondays. ew. even though it was a pretty nice day with it being all sunny I was still super tired. I hatee mondays. Not as much as I hate thursdays but mondays suck. Mostly cuz of my violin lessons after but it actually turned out pretty well today. The violin teacher said I improved. I don't know if he actually meant it or if he was just in a good mood and he just said it.

Anyways tomorrow's the essay thing and I'm kinda nervous. I'm not sure if I even should be. I heard it was like a pretty huge thing. For my friend's english class, it was worth 10% of his final mark which is kinda scary if you think about it. I'm not sure if I'll do too well. I was never good with writing essays. Anyways i gotta get a good night's sleep. Night.

Proooo-D

danggg. I just realized that there's a pro-d on wednesday. omggggg yayyyy. theres only like a month and a half of school left to go. Grade 9's coming to an end. Yea I gotta say, out of all the years, Grade 9 fizzed by pretty quick. I guess Grade 8 felt longer when you're still meeting new people and making new friends. Now it's just people hanging out with their own group because you already know people and you know who your friends are. Maybe there still are some new people that you might meet but for the most part, most of the introductions are made in Grade 8. I wonder what Grade 10s gonna be like. *sigh* i hate how time just keeps going on and theres nothing you could do to stop it. Maybe you could slow it down but it's still continuing on. We're all slowly dying and coming closer to leaving this world.

Anyways I spent my Sunday mostly doing homework and I watched the Tooth Fairy in the afternoon and there was this nice quote I remembered. "You can't score a goal if you don't take a shot". It was like referring to hockey and it's a pretty meaningful quote. Anyways I finished watching the Tooth Fairy and it was a good movie. So yea. I heard tomorrow's gonna be 19 degrees. Dangg. gonna be pretty hot.

report cardss

well since I have nothing to blog about, I'll just talk about my report card. But before I do, Gabe... I wasn't being mean =.= The first bell rung and that signals the end of break. So really the bow tie was safe then. ANYWAYSSS. omgggg. I did so so so so so so so so so bad. first term was like average for me but it went downhill second term. SOOOOOOO bad. I can't believe I got a friggin B for French. I was like a percent away from an A. I guess I'm just too quiet in class. omggggg. I still can't get over it. Then there was Applied Skills which I got a C+ in. Dropped from an A to a C+. Everything else just stayed pretty much the somee. I hope I do better 3rd term.

queen of class

soo today we got bow ties. Well actually we didn't all get bow ties. We had science first period and we were suppose to get it during science but we never got them. Me, Kevin, Jason, and Roy all had to go to the office during break to actually get them. Most of the guys in Synergy didn't even end up getting them. Anyways there were alot of girls out there that were trying to get bow ties. During lunch you could see some girls with their pockets full of bow ties. Some of them really want to win the prizes they had. You would see girls trying to get other guys talk. Even I almost lost my bow tie when I first got it. Anyways I ended up losing it at the end of the day. *sigh* I wanted the chocolate.

first day of presentations

omggg the first day. getting picked today feels like getting picked for the Hunger Games. Thank goodness we have the brave young souls who volunteer. Anywaysss today I saw alot of different first person POV and it gave me an idea for my project. My project actually seems okay now. I might have to change the script a little and change some of the stuff on my slides so it's still in development.

For socials today, we finally had Condomania. FINAALLY. We've been waiting for it for like a week or so now. Anyways we learnt about all stuff like safe sex and consent and really it was pretty much just like last year except no free condoms. I think even one of the people that presented it to us was the person from last year. It turns out that the Queen of Ties thing is postponed to tomorrow. I much rather have it on Day 1. Just seems better for me. 

Projectttt

Probably everyone I know right now is doing their Applied Skills project. I'm actually quite proud of what I have so far. My presentation looks alright. I'm trying to make it as special and organized as possible. I gotta admit, I'm a neat freak. I like things being neat and tidy. Some people I know are already done their projects. I'm kinda excited to see what Gabe's project is like. He says his first person POV is a scientist's POV. It's probably something impressive and maybe if he presented before me, I might get some ideas on how to make my presentation even better.
Anyways tomorrow we have Condomania. Finally. It's been delayed for like a week or so now. From what I've heard from my friends who already went, this year we don't get free condoms which is a disappointment. Whyyy.

Green Mango

Oh goodness.
Ew.
I've never tasted something so horrible ever in my life.
After school Chris and I decided to get a drink and this store at Parker Place has a bunch of slushie flavours and I saw green mango and it sounded pretty interesting and delicious. When I got it, it was horrible. It literally like destroyed my taste buds. I don't even know how to describe the taste. It tasted like moldy peaches or moldy mangoes. It didn't even taste like mango at all and it was green. It was like sour and a little moldy and partially tasteless. I'm never ever having it ever again. I almost wanted to throw up. I should probably just play it safe next time. I feel bad getting something I didn't like. I wasted something that other people out there might not even get a chance to try. *sigh*. Whyyyy. Well looking on the bright side, I've tried it and I don't like it. People learn from mistakes right? Now I know that I shouldn't get it. 

omgg

im soo tired today. I was yawning all day at school and I don't even know why. I slept pretty early yesterday so I don't get why I'm all tired. Anyways another normal Day 2. I think I'm starting to like Day 2s more now. I still don't know. They both have their pros and cons. Anyways, my pencil case got ruined. My friend was using my pen and it broke. I was gonna fix it at home so I just left all the parts to the pen in my pencil case. When i got home to open my pencil case I found that all the ink in the pen spilled out and it ruined 2 of my pens and part of my pencil case. Now I gotta get a new pencil case. At least it's near the end of the year. It's May tomorrow. Gosh. May and then June. Less than 2 more months of school. Less than 2 more months of Synergy 9. I still remember the beginning of the year. *sigh* i guess time passes by faster when you're having fun.

I'm kinda excited for May. My grandpa promised me he would get me a new camera so I could take better pictures and record high quality videos sooo yea. I'm pretty excited. I have like 2 presentations at the auditorium tomorrow. One for the physics and the other one's the Green Thumb presentation. Soo I'm gonna be missing math and Applied Skills. omgggg math </3. best period. gone. I didn't even get the fieldtrip form signed by the teacher. I completely forgot about it and now I gotta get it signed first thing tomorrow. Hope its sunny.
