I GOT SHOTTTTT

OMGGGGGG. WE GOT SHOTS TODAY. AND I WAS SO FREAKING NERVOUS. It was only for Grade 9s and it was going by alphabetical order. I'm pretty happy with that because my last name is like W and it's almost last. I was really really really freaking out. There were like needles poked into everybody's arms when I went. It's not the first time I've taken shots but I've had bad experiences with them. What makes it even worse like, I was asking basically everyone I saw how the shots were and they were like," OMGGG. IT HURT SOO MUCH. ITS LIKE GETTING A KNIFE STABBED IN YOUR ARM. THE NURSE KEPT MISSING MY ARM TOO AND SHE GOT THE WRONG BLOODSTREAM SO SHE HAD TO RETAKE THE SHOT 4 TIMES." That got me more scared. Waiting in line to get the shot was like waiting in line to die. In the end, I survived the shots and I went back home with a story to tell my parents. The boy who survived the needle.

GUITARRR

GABEE BROUGHT HIS GUITAR TODAYYYYYY.
WOOOOOTTTTT!!!!!!!!
He has a really really nice guitar. The sound is really nice and he was jamming out and he sounds awesome. He played "Rolling in the Deep" and I just sang to it. I guess this is considered preparations for the band which is nice. Now we know the skill level of each of our guitar levels and our singing levels. If you didnt know, Gabe was planning to audition for Churchill's got Talentand it was something that I was looking forward to all week but I had no idea why he all of the sudden backed out. I don't get it. He's such a good singer and guitarist. The world needs to see and hear his talent. Gabe, you need to perform.

SQUARE DANCING

We have square dancing tomorrrowwwwwww. Thats pretty much means thats the end of basketball which really sucks. I still remember the awkwardness of last year. You have to hold their hands and you can't just like make ur sleeves long because if you do the teacher just comes over and starts threatening you and that if you don't roll ur sleeves up, they'll fail you in P.E. They almost make you sing all those songs and the louder you sing, the more marks you get. You have to like stare at each other which just makes it more awkward. Usually i just avoid as much eye contact as possible. Then you see the teachers dancing with each other trying to be a good example but that just makes things more embarassing.

KICKED IN THE SHINN

I had Takewondo in the morning just like every Saturday morning. Today for Takewondo we had sparring which is just another word for fighting. You get like chest-guards and shin-guards and everything so you don't end up getting hurt. Anyways me and my friend were doing some pretty good kicks and we scored points on each other by hitting their chest-guard but then my friend was going a fast hard kick and so was I. It would've been fine if it just wasn't the same leg. so basically he ended up kneeing my shin then the sparring group next to us got a little bit intense and they ended up going to our area and basically bumped into my friend at the moment he was kneeing my shin and it was a real mess. In the end my friend got kicked in the groin. So basically me and my friend both had a little time-out because he needed to recover from his kicked groin and I needed to recover from my kneed shin. Whatta great class.

We've had like so many pro-ds for the first term it seems like theres only like 4 days of school. First term just ended today which means all the marks start fresh again. That's good. Already 1 term done for grade 9. Two more terms then it'll be summer again and off to Grade 10. Term 1 felt pretty quick to me. Not sure if its just me. It's already almost Christmas and Winter Break. I'd really hope it snows again soon. So far theres only been a day of snow and it was like a cm. It's all melted so that really doesn't matter much.

GRADE 8 INDOOR TRACK MEET

Today was the grade 8 indoor track meet and basically the whole gym was used for it a during our P.E. class too so basically for gym we stayed in the balcony and watched it. It was pretty intense. It brought back alot of memories from last year and the track meet we had last year. I kinda miss Grade 8 now just thinking about it. We were sitting in the red team area today and I was red team last year so I was just cheering for the red team. I only watched half of the track meet and red team was first for the first half. The red team was pretty strong this year though. It was fun watching all the competition and the people cheering.

Tests.

I had 2 tests today.

both of them were in the morning. Omg... french test and a math test. I don't really worry much about math because most of the stuff we do is really easy and all you have to do for math is just remember the formulas and basically everything else you can basically do according to that formula. French you have to remember everything and the les and las and which words are feminine and which words are masculine. We got it back right after we had the test and I got 8/10. It's not a bad mark and its not too great either. Gotta study more.

i had like no idea the empathy blog thing ended like a few days ago. I just kept doing empathy blogs. Well now that it's over I'm back to blogging my own blogs again and it's nice to be back.

Today was nice. For P.E. we had basketball again and we played games like "King of the Court" which was pretty fun. We had a student teacher help us out and she taught us the different passes and she taught us dribbling. It was nice practice. Anyways I just found out today that basketball ends next class which is really gonna suck. Well at least I heard that it ends next class. It lasts for two weeks so yeah. Square dancing next.

im so tired
last night i had 3 hours of sleep
ah how i hate math
and then after school i had basketball practice
i had to do 5 sets of lines, two minutes of tabletops, 8 minutes of running the bleachers, situps and sitting against the wall thingy
man it was tiring but i know it will pay off
im glad that our coaches are actually pushing us to become better
last year i think our coach kind of gave up the first game into the season after knowing that we weren't that great
i think that is how our volleyball coach felt too
they both decided not to go up with us and instead just scout the grade 8s
ahh but ms holdaway, catherine, rachel and keani are really amazing (:
this blog probably doesn't make sense because im tired out of my mind

today i woke up
at 26 dumplings
then set off for the day
i watched the football game at bc stadium and it was amazing
the stadium was sooo big and there were so many little people
it was really fun spending this time with my family
and even though i didn't understand much of the game cause i don't watch football,
it was very entertaining to watch people jump on top of other people


then i went home
and i went to dinner with my family and family friends
we went to this szechuan cuisine and it was a wonderful dinner
you see

she decided to eat a hot pepper, thinking it wasn't hot
little did she know
it was hot

it was a wonderful dinner


now i am home and catching up on homework

and took a shower
then dreaded to go to chinese school but did it anyways
im like 5 levels higher than i should be
so i don't even know what's going on
when my teacher asks me something i just nod my head and pretend i know exactly what shes talking about even if it isn't a yes no question
anyways in the afternoon i went to oakridge with my best friend for lifeeee emily wong
LOL we ate then we walked around and we saw so many people

therefore not allowing us to play up a level

i woke up at 9:34
i was forced to cause we had to go to the states
ahh anyways i woke up and i ate cereal and i ate cheese string and i ate a reese peanut butter cup
then we set off to go to the states
so i slept the whole way there
like the minute i sat down in my dad's car
i closed my eyes and i just started sleeping


then we arrived at bellias fair mall and i started shopping
i bought this jacket thingy at hollister and when i came out
i saw my dad on the bench and he was sleeping
like actually sleeping.
ah why do guys hate shopping?

OCCUPY VANCOUVERR

So today I went downtown to buy some new clothes and some jackets for winter and I just happened to pass by the Art Gallery and I finally saw the Occupy Vancouver in person. I don't usually don't to downtown that often so yea. Anyways, there were alot of camps set up and I'm not sure why but there was a sign saying "Homes of Women". Probably that area was the camps for women. There was a firetruck right nearby. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the future.

IN OTHER NEWSS

My dog's leg is getting alot better and thats good news. He still limps a little but it's alot less noticeable. Me and my dad were carrying him to the garden for him to do his business so he doesn't have to walk down the big flight of stairs and walk back up. He'll be good and back to normal by Tuesday. Then we'll bring him to a vet on Wednesday just to make sure his leg is for sure ok. He's getting old. He's as old as me and thats like about 98 years old in dog years. He's super healthy though. LOVEE YA WHISKEYY. Yup Whiskey's his name.

I GOT MY CHINESE TEST BACK

After all the days of studying.

All the days of painfully learning new chinese words.

I finally got my chinese test back

and I got....... 34%

That's actually quite good considering three of my friends got 15.5%, 20%, 23%. I'm quite proud of myself. I don't even think anyone got an A. The test was just tat hard. 1/2 of the class failed which says alot. You had to do the test and write an essay. The test was out of 70 and the essay was out of 30. I got 22/70 for the test and 12/30 for the essay so yea. Lets hope I do better next time. But for now. I'm gonna relax and enjoy whats left of my 4 day weekend.

REMEMBRANCE DAY

Today I just had a remembrance day parade for cadets and it was pouring and cold. We gathered up at Victory Square and there were alot of people. It was quite unbearable because you had to stand in the squad at attention or at ease for about 2 hours. One of my friends got hypothermia and the first aid team had to give her oxygen. She got out fine though. My other friend felt faint and had to step out of the squad for a few minutes. We heard speeches and songs and there was actually a poem written by someone from Churchill that was read during the whole ceremony which was pretty cool. The poem was very well done and very inspiring.

My dog's left front leg got twisted or something. I'm really not sure what happened. When he went out to the garden I heard him bark in pain. Right now he's limping and I really wish I could do something to help. My dad felt his leg to make sure its not broken. It's hard watching him limp everywhere. He needs some rest. Hopefully his leg will get better.

EMPATHY BLOGS

So we're starting this empathy blog things and my friends told me it starts Monday. Basically you interview your partner and you do your best to see things from their perspective. Then after you know everything and what happened in their day you blog about it. So yea.

So today I made this deal with Gabriel and now I'm in the band for good. Gabe wanted me in the band and I wanted him to stay in Churchill till we graduate. It was a pretty good win-win deal. We both got what we wanted. I'm still kinda worried that Gabe might leave Churchill though. He started telling me that he might leave when school just about started and I just really really want him to stay. I know it's his decision but still. I would literally do anything to get him to stay. Today we spent some of our time deciding what to name the band and I thought Forever For After would be a good name. Gabe thinks Occupy Limelight is a nice name and Cynthia thinks Disillusioned is a good one. Guess we'll have to see what the band's name ends up as.

WHY IS NOOO ONE HEREEEE

Today.

I woke up at 7:30.

I got dressed.

I ate.

I got in the car and went to school.

There were no cars and barely any people.

I thought I was late.

I went into the school and I see teachers walking around.

There were like 1 or 2 students

Then I heard one of the teachers asking another teacher where all the students are.

Then I heard the teacher answer "it's collab"

Then I soon realized it was collab day and I slowly walked all the way home in the rain.

FOOTTBALLLL

ITSSS FOOTBALLL AGAINN. OOOOO HOW MUCH I LOVE FOOTBALL. It's pretty fun. We went against the yellow team and we won. It wasn't the best game we had I personally thought. It wasn't as intense enough and we didn't catch as much balls as we had before. We did like really awesome plays for previous games we had. They were extreme intense games. So far we're a pretty strong team. We have 3 wins and 1 loss which is pretty impressive. Too bad the last day of football is on Thursday which really sucks. We're doing basketball next which is pretty nice. Hope basketball turns out fun.

SS TEST

The SS test we had today was actually not as hard as I expected. We got to choose our own topics to write about and they were pretty simple and straightforward. The only hard part was the time limit we had. I barely had enough time to finish my essay. The other stuff was pretty easy though. The notes took me a really long time though. I spent like 5 hours doing it and I got 5 pages. I might've been a bit slow because I just finished my Takewondo test and I had to do all these jumping techniques. Now that the homeless simulator is over, I finally get to sleep on my own comfy bed. It was really bad last night. I had to wear my hoodie and I kept my hood on the whole night. I was shivering really really badly and it was painful getting to sleep. It took me an hour to get to sleep and it was really really freezing cold. I'm gonna be all warm tonight fortunately.

TAKEWONDO TESTT

I did my Takewondo test today and I actually did better than I expected. I was really nervous in the morning. I thought I was gonna trip and do horribly and be kicked out but nope. I survived the whole thing. I broke some boards and did some kicks and I have pictures.

I did alot of jumping kicks and you had to break boards with kicks in the air. It's much harder than it actually looks. I am offically promoted to black belt 3rd dan.

CHINESEEE

I got a huge chinese test today and yea it was pretty dang hard. I suck at chinese even thought I spent like hours and hours studying. I made a chinese essay. I did everything. I listen to the teacher. I do my best. And yet I still fail. We have these like small spelling tests and so far I only passed one. Thats pretty bad. I'm scared I might even fail this test. I got 55 for an essay I handed in which is horrible.

ANYWAYS

Sleeping on cardboard was a really really REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. My dog kept licking me in the middle of the night and it was cold. I barely had even energy today to do Takewondo and take my Chinese test. I have a Takewondo tournament tomorrow and I really need a good nights sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night yesterday and it was really hard getting back to sleep. I was yawning all day today.

I'm scared. The Takewondo test is gonna be hardddd. Hope I pass...

DEBATE

Oh goodness gracious. I had the worst debate today. Gabe and Roy, mostly Gabe, totally pwned our butts. He had the best comebacks. I'm not even kidding. I thought me and Jason could wing it all the way but nope. It was much harder than it looks. You need to think of things to say quick and you have to keep speaking. I kept repeating stuff because I was running out of points to say and I stopped once in a while to find some more points. I was like really really pissed after the debate. Like I'm not even kidding. OMGGG. Imma go sleep on cardboard now. Last night was pretty cold. I woke up with my hands numb. Tonights gonna be worse... Omg..

THESE FEW DAYS

these few days are gonna be hard hard days. starting today I'll have to sleep on cardboard with newspaper or sleep outside with no newspaper. I'm not even sure how I could survive the school days and my Takewondo competition on Sunday. I'm tired even though I sleep at 11 on a soft comfortable bed so I really think I'm gonna be dead in the morning if I sleep on cardboard with newspaper. I might not even be able to get to sleep. Im worried.

ANYWAYS TIME SOME FOR SOME NEWS ABOUT THE WEATHER.

it was really messed up today. It was sunny and it was raining. It was raining/hailing. Well at least its a sign that its gonna snow soon which is good. I also saw a huge rainbow which was really clear and nice. Strange weather...

WORK DAY

I had work day today and I followed my mom the whole day. I stayed in her shop and I basically just sat in her office. I've been there at least a thousand times literally. You could almost say I grew up there. I know everything there and I might even know all the prices of the products. I go there at least 4-5 times a week which is ALOT. I help out sometimes like packaging the products or taping labels onto the packages. I've worked there for the whole summer which was a real waste. I didn't really have a choice. I just had to follow my parents to where they went and to the shop I go. It's like this every summer... That's why I don't like summers too much. Nothing much to do.

PISSED

After the night yesterday, my grandma and my grandpa are super pissed. My parents weren't at home yesterday so I had to ask my grandaparents permission to go to trick or treating. I literally had to beg to go. I had no idea how I manged to convince them to let me go. It's a wonder that I could even go. I did have fun with my friends though. My grandparents aren't in such a good mood and neither am I. They yelled at me yesterday after I came back. Well at least the Canucks won 5-1 against the Flames.
